Nice atmosphere. Spacious. Attractive menu. Good food. They appeared to be short staff which causes a longer wait than the average. Waitress asked for our order three times as she stood in front of us. She would shift her attention to her co-workers to talk to them, would come back to us apologizing and asking for our order again. Waitress failed to give us her full attention so we had to repeat our order. Be patient and understanding of the possibility of staffing shortage when visiting. I will visit again.
I expected a bit better quality considering it's called a scratch kitchen. This place was like any other chain restaurant. Im not sure everything was made fresh either. The steak and spinach dip I got was great, but everything else was very mediocre. The croissants have a honey butter on them, which I'm not a fan of but I'm sure many would like it. I would go back for the steak, and spinach dip but I'd pass on most everything else I got.As to the service and price, I have no complaints. My server was great, and prices were very reasonable.
Bang for your buck is outstanding.Maybe my favorite restaurant. It has nice decor, and clean. One pound T-bone for 20 bucks was a deal.Shane really was a great server. He was so good we didn't mind waiting a little bit for the food. The complimentary crescent rolls are incredible.
My sister and I took a trip to Erie to visit a college campus and before we went home we decided to try this place! It was a great decision; the staff was super friendly, fast and efficient service, and the food was delicious. We each got their strawberry lemonade with a chicken pot pie, plus a house salad. The salad was amazing! I've never had a better salad from anywhere. The pot pie was perfect - the flaky crust with the nice hot filling hit the spot! We already talked about going back just to get lunch one day soon. You definitely won't be disappointed!!
Told 15 minute wait at the door, we were seated after 39 minutes. The young ladies seating people were confused with a very poor system of seating. There were multiple empty tables, yet 30-50 people standing at the door waiting to be seated. They had no baked potatoes, no carrots, no rice. Our food arrived before our waitress brought us silverware. Worst dinner experience we have ever had.
I came here with friends on a whim, not expecting anything great. I had heard mixed reviews about this place, but was pleasantly surprised. Their food is pretty all around incredible, even if the wait was somewhat on the longer side. The serving staff made up for the wait as they were friendly and personable, and always on top of it for the tables needs. The ambience and, especially, the decor, is unique and breathtaking in the main room. I definitely recommend, even if only once.
I want to start off by saying that our service and the manager response was outstanding. The front of the house is excellent but it seems like their kitchen staff needs some serious work and maybe some hair nets. Our appetizer never came out. My steak was so rare it was basically raw and there was a hair in my food (also cold). My friend also had a hair in her food. We had objects floating in our cups as if they weren't washed properly. We got a desert and asked for no peanuts, but there were peanuts in the desert. Luckily no one was allergic because this could have been a fatal mistake. On top of the peanuts there was some plastic in the desert as well. The food was absolutely disgusting and we will likely never return for food. The server, once again, was amazing and did everything she could to make our experience a little better.
First time I've ever been here. I highly highly highly recommend the bacon cheeseburger. My boyfriend took me here and it is so nice and worth it. Words of advice get some extra croissants. And get dessert. Waiter was so kind to us. Somebody kiss their cooks for me please.
We stopped in for dinner the night of the Super Bowl as we had been in Erie looking at local colleges. We were on the search for dinner and noticed many of the local restaurants were not open. We happened upon Cheddar's and were so happy we did. Dinner was great, a steak with loaded potato & chicken fingers with a potato were our meals. All were very good. Service was great, the young man that waited on us was sweet and attentive. The croissants that they give you at the start of the meal were an unexpected surprise and quite delicious. Overall it was a really good dinner, decent prices and solid service. i would gladly go here again when we are in the area.
Food was all good cooked perfectly. Only downside they were out of the Monte Cristo sandwich but not there fault
