Excellent food, excellent waiter, service and atmosphere. Couldn't ask for more! Highly recommend this place. My husband had steak and it was great. I also had a mixed drink which was good too!!!
Stopped in on Sunday for their brunch special and it was wonderful! The service was excellent (thank you Josh!). The owner stopped by our table twice to check on us. The food portions were over the top and delicious. Can't say enough wonderful things about this place. We will definitely visit this establishment again next time we are in Erie.
An amazing dining experience at Bob's Steakhouse this evening. We were their first customers and we will certainly return. The restaurant is beautiful and the food was delicious. It's a steakhouse and it delivered, but the brussel sprouts were unbelievable. Welcome to the neighborhood Bob's Steakhouse.
My lady and I visited Bob's Steakhouse on it's opening day. From the Maitre 'd to the bartender to the servers to the chefs, everyone was primed and ready to go. The decor is modern and classy, with the full windows allowing ample amounts of natural light to flood the dining area. There are also outdoor tables available for those desiring a helping of fresh air with their meal. The music that plays indoors was pretty hip and while just a touch loud, it was cooler than what you hear in most eateries. Our server was everything that you'd want: prompt, courteous and professional. But he exhibited two other attributes that put him a notch above the norm. He was conversant in a most friendly manner without crossing the line and becoming intrusive in our dining, nor did he hurry us in an effort to turn over the table (our meal lasted two hours). The French onion soup is a must if you are appreciative of that particular appetizer. My lady and I both ordered prime filet, cooked to two different degrees, and they both were done to perfection. The mashed potatoes were just like grandma used to make -- heavy and REAL. But the real surprise was the brussel sprouts. I love brussel sprouts, but have never in my life tasted any as delectable as these. There's a touch of honey in them that neutralizes the bitterness of the sprouts, which made them the perfect accompaniment for the filet. If you have no appreciation for brussel sprouts, these may actually win you over. Really! Not wanting to pull up short after such a wonderful meal, we opted for dessert. I'm told that the bananas foster bordered on being heavenly, while I can attest that the creme brulee was prepared by a chef who knew exactly what they were doing. Our taste buds were lubricated for all of this marvelous food with a cocktail -- the bartender also knows what he is doing -- and a bottle of wine. The restaurant where we traditionally go for steak dinner has just lost twofer customers. Bob's Steakhouse will be our destination from here on in and we anxiously await our next visit there, so that we can have friends accompany us.
