We made reservations for Bob's Steakhouse for 6:30PM on a Saturday, so we went into this expecting for it to be busy. I was so surprised by the atmosphere and other individuals in the establishment. For how pricey it was, the tables "needed refinished" and were so sticky that the server commented on "wow this paper is really sticking to the table" (yup, we know).There was an obnoxious table of two next to us who kept accosting the server and made it nearly impossible for him to do his job (including helping us). I watched another table of 10 drinking wine directly out of a bottle. I don't normally care about this stuff, but it seemed rather rambunctious for what I thought was going to be a nice date night. There were also MANY people wearing sweatpants & some sweatsuits. Just seemed weird that there was no dress code, again, did not impact my overall experience, just seemed strange for an "upscale" restaurant.We got our appetizer & my side salad quickly, and they also brought some bread to the table that was really good. The food itself was delicious, the problem was, after we got the appetizer it took an additional 1 hour and 15 minutes to get our dinner. I was giving it to 1.5 hours and then I was going to just ask for our check - I normally don't expect to get to dinner at 6:30 and not eat the actual dinner until 8:30. In any case, my husband and I both got the filet w/ baked potato and it was good. Our server was nice and was trying his best to make sure we were taken care of, but like I said, some of the other tables were just making it nearly impossible. I would return for the food, but not for the wait and the atmosphere. So, basically we won't be back.
We absolutely love this restaurant. They are busy, so you may want to make reservations, but we were accommodated. Upscale menu with a chef who knows what he's doing. My salmon was the perfect, juicy medium I asked for. His medium steak was super tender & delicious. The demi glace was very rich, not sure you really need it covering the whole steak, but it was an addition. The bread is made in house, ridiculously light, warm, yummy. This was our 3rd time and each time was fantastic. We need to support this local establishment!

We were greeted upon entering the establishment, and this was our first visit here. They weren't busy, so we were seated promptly. The server visited our table within a reasonable amount of time. She was thorough in her introduction, making sure to understand our likes and dislikes so as to serve us better. The food was fresh - though not overly hot. Nothing to squawk about though - things happen. I appreciate the atmosphere, though a little more light by the bar would (IMO) appeal some. We will be back if we're ever back in the area again.
Our second time trying Bob's, the first time we didn't think we'd come back but this time everything was great!! There were 3 of us in our party.. We had the Grilled herb and cheese mushrooms, french onion soup, 2 12oz prime ribs and the 16oz Ny strip! Everything was perfectly cooked and tasted amazing! We will be back!
Waiter was great, food was good & We will return.
