Wow !! Everything I have ordered has been delivered and amazing !! Highly recommend
Was very different experience than what was expecting from website and other reviews. Only 2 wine selections, both sweet, no mixed drinks, only beer. No live music, it was Wed night but advertised every night. Very slow service. Not that great. Food was indeed Big portions, and husband enjoyed the Cheese Steak sandwich. Had delicious wings for appetizer.. I should have guessed the Big Salads would be on iceberg lettuce. Just ate the grilled chicken on there. Left the rest. Onion rings were perfect for me, crisp and hot, but too breaded for husband's taste.
I went to BigBar for the first time and the dj was terrible. My girlfriends and I requested a song and he told us we would have to wait over an hour and he never played it. The music was just really bad, we ended up leaving. The bartenders were all super nice and quick !
Boneless wings ? Looked like & tasted like McDonald's chicken McNuggets. Should have went to McDonald's would have been better & not $9 . Not tenders, just little Squares of chicken (very little) Should be ashamed to serve that as boneless wings. What a ripoff.
If I could give 0 stars i would! We waited 2 hours for food and never got anything besides a server telling us that it was coming. Shes so busy and no manager or help. While 3 men stood in the kitchen just looking for food. Numerous togo orders left. Manager never came by never said anything. We ended up leaving and not getting food after 2 hours of waiting. Unreal!
My wife and decided to stop for a quick snack on a beautiful Saturday afternoon. I had driven by BigBar many times but never stopped. I am sure glad we did today. We sat outside in their sidewalk patio area at covered Hightower table. We were greeted by our server. Taylor with a big friendly smile. Taylor gave us our menus and took our drink order. When she returned with our beverages, we chatted with for minute or two. We found her polite, friendly, and very welcoming. When she later returned with our food we were amazed at size of the portions and pleased with how delicious it tasted. With such great food and great service we will be sure to return. We hope to see you there.
I was a an all day conference downtown, we had 1.5 hrs for lunch. We had to leave without food. Coworker stayed longer but she too had to leave. They brought food over as we were only down the street. Orders were wrong. They sent out multiple take out orders while we waited. Could see cook in back vaping while preparing food.
A friend and I were visiting Erie and were in search of "the best wings" so we took Googles advice and ended at BigBar. We did not regret it one second! The wings and sides we had were delicious. They were well staffed and the bartenders were personable even when they got really busy. And the drinks were priced and made well. I missed the name of the band but we really enjoyed their set of classic rock songs. After the band we noticed the older crowd beginning to leave so we prepared to the same (we're in our 40's). But the DJ's were versatile, mixing different types of music and the dance floors were full that we left and went back to dance the night away. We'll definitely return whenever we're in Erie...great job BigBar!
Service seems like it can get messy at times. One server was running a very large area, but she did a great job! Very laid back experience, but very enjoyable. We will definitely be going back.
Food is always good! People are always polite and extremely courteous! So far every thing I have ordered has been served exactly as asked for and the portions are gracious! They certainly don't skimp on anything! They are no joke when they say big bar! Always pleased with my service and my orders! Employee went above and beyond as a gentleman and carried my food to my truck for me happily! I'll definitely be back to try more off the menu!
