Service was slow. Friend asked for double cheeseburger, only single. Server got defensive when asked about it. Music was very loud and not pleasant. When asked if it could be turned down, were told manager said no. Never asked my friend what size sundae he wanted and he got a small. Waiter didn't come back to ask how food was.My opinion, if you can go to Friendly's on airport road. They got 5 stars and kudos to the district manager!

Took my family there on Sunday march 6 th for my sons birthday. Never again! We got seated at a dirty , sticky table. Then we waited about 10 for our waitress who didn’t bother writing anything down. She messed up our drink orders. Then messed up our food orders. One order was sent back 3 times because of onions in it. Instead of making a new sandwich the manager tried to scrape out the onions in hopes we wouldn’t notice. They tried charging for food we didn’t get. We were never offered dessert. And my son never got the sundae he was supposed to get with his order. After all that I look back and see the waitress writing down the order of a party of 3 but wasn’t smart enough to write down for a party of 6. And the best they can tell me is that it’s a teaching moment. Bad business is what it is.

The bad:Dirty table (crumbs and sticky), did we forget about covid or just germs altogether?Dirty menu that could be seen 10 feet away.40 minutes to get my food.Overpriced ($14-$16), entree same price as Appetizer.I get the staff shortage but all it took was a large party before me to break the system. 40 minutes is 10 minutes longer than the average person to be done eating and out the door.Yes you can apologize, discount, etc. but the experience is trashed and future visits are out of the question. So no, I would rather hit the Diner or local Wendy's.

Can you imaging standing at the welcome counter and not being acknowledged for 10 min? My daughter and I went to this location to get an evening treat, but when we walked in there was a couple waiting to be seated, so we opted to take our treat to go instead. We waited at the counter with numerous employees going back and forth, with none of them asking to help us. 10 min... no hello or welcome. So we high tailed it out of there and headed to Melt, a cool new ice cream parlor on South Main St. Phillipsburg. Best decision we made that night.

I don’t know how this specific Friendly’s maintains 3.6*, I’ve had repeated bad experiences here. My fiancée and I live extremely local to this location so we con ourselves (eventually) into the same story: “it’ll be better this time,” because we both love ice cream and it brings back fond memories of our childhoods to come here. However, I’m going to try to be firm to not return, which disappoints us.Tonight, we went in and waited 10 minutes to be seated — it was a ghost town inside, but there seems to be no coordination or planning at all among the staff. Originally, I’d wanted apps with ice cream, but decided against because I wasn’t feeling confident that this was going to be a good night. We ordered soon after and got drinks fast, and waited almost an hour for two medium sundaes. The waitress came back after 35 minutes to re-ask what we’d ordered, dropped off sundaes 10-15 minutes later with check to never return or check up. I watched several people wait longer than we did to be seated or given food, and I’m not the type of person to leave a negative review usually, or recommend someone not go somewhere, but I wish I had the heart to let the people walking in know to go anywhere else then here. Someone waited 15 minutes just to pay their bill, I rushed up behind them because I had no idea when someone would return to the cash register. It stinks that we won’t return because this is a great place for kids/adults to enjoy ice cream and spend time here. Whoever is responsible for overseeing this specific store or franchise needs to take a closer look and oversee it in a more direct way — maybe it’s people like myself’s fault for ever returning after a similar experience, I’ve had 4-5x experiences like this there, but this isn’t just a COVID staff shortage. It’s a really badly run establishment.

This place actually lives up to its name. As a truck driver who has been around the whole country to a lot of restaurants with awesome service and great experiences, it is really saying something to have a review from me. I almost never give positive reviews, too. These people have taken great care of me and my puppy with nice healthy meals for the last couple days while I was in town. Definitely would have thought at first glance that "Friendly's" would just be another old title.

Last night was the last night to redeem 2 rewards for free medium sundaes on my account. My wife and I spent 30+ minutes standing at the counter holding my phone up (logged in to my Friendly's account) as the server attempted to complete the order over and over again. They were, allegedly, having trouble with the system. The server finally got the rewards to come up, but then canceled the order for some reason. Then she couldn't get them to come back up again. After many trips back and forth to the manager, Deluca, who refused to simply step 15 feet forward and speak to us herself, the server instructed us that Deluca would not allow her to give us the 2 sundaes I was owed. Instead, she would give us 2 for the price of 1. Why am I paying anything for the 2 FREE sundae on my account? I refused and that was that. Now the rewards have disappeared from my account. Terrible experience.

Excellent food and service! Thank you Zoe for being so attentive! Such exceptionally pleasant staff!! I will definitely be back very soon!

Service was bad. Had to actually go up and get the waitress twice. Food was pretty bad too, but the ice cream was good. The place was dirty. I guess they're understaffed like most places are right now.

I was seated quickly and ordered my food, a milkshake and a water.I proceeded to sit for 25 minutes just to be told that you’re out of milk. (Shortages happening right now. I understand) so no milkshake. No problem. My question is why it took 25 minutes for it to be communicated to me that you are out of milk? It’s 7pm has no one checked inventory since you’ve opened at 9am?Then, I was asked what replacement drink I’d prefer. Even though I ordered a water with my milkshake and that never came out either.I proceeded to get my water after ordering it a second time and took the next 15 minutes writing this review. Still waiting for my food. There are also 2 Three tops and 1 one top (me) so I really don’t understand. It’s not crowded.
