I adore eclectic, calm and interesting vibes those establishments I choose to visit. The restaurants energy is relaxed and welcoming. We had the most enjoyable meal, service was great and the owner personally stopped by each table to see how everything was going. This will not be my last visit.
We had a lovely experience. It was our first time dining with Ashley's Signature Restaurant. However, I am going to be thinking about that crab bisque all the time now...so, it won't be long before we're back! The drinks were delightful and perfectly crafted. That crab bisque was perfection. A little sweet, perfect creaminess, and just perfectly balanced flavors with a good portion of crab. The ahi tuna appetizer special was fresh and bright. I ordered the crab cakes for my meal and they so good! Absolutely no filler, just crab. Just wonderful. We finished with the croissant bread pudding and it was just over-the-top delicious. For real, unreal deliciousness. It comes with a rich caramel sauce, a scoop of cinnamon ice cream, and a bit of whipped cream.Like I mentioned, we will be back very soon! I have had the pleasure of dinning at Ashley's 3 times in the past year. On each occasion the staff and food has exceeded my expectations. Ashley's offers a diverse menu that has choices to please everyone. The full bar is well stocked and their cocktails are expertly crafted. The waitstaff are attentive and professional. Even though Ashley's has been around since, I believe, 1935, each time I enter I feel as though I've discovered a hidden gem. My only regret is that I don't live closer because if I did I'd be able to enjoy this amazing restaurant more often.
This place is fabulous. I called the morning of Mother's Day, expecting no available reservations and sure enough no reservations. The owner said she would call me back if something opened up, or if something didn't open up. She called when she said she would stating nothing still available. That alone scores 5 stars for valuable customer service, even though I couldn't be a customer. About 30 minutes later a call again saying there was now an opening. I took it and glad I did. The crab bisque was the best I've ever had and piping hot, not luke warm. The dinner was perfection and so many interesting desserts that day we had to try multiple. So glad I found this spot and can't wait to be back again. It's awesome. Destiny the waitress was fantastic and Melinda the owner even came out to greet us. Highly recommend this gem!
Enjoyed our night at the races at Ashley's for the Kentucky Derby Race this weekend. They were showing the race real-time so we got to see the big race upset w Rich Strike horse taking over the lead to win! Our food was delicious, fun atmosphere, ladies in their fancy bonnets and facinators, mint julep served, and sandwiches decorated w derby horse picks! How cute! Loved it! Our 1st visit but not o be our last, for sure!
Discovered this quaint neighborhood restaurant that’s been serving a loyal clientele for 2 generations. (with staying power like that, they obviously have been doing something right!) Melinda, the proprietress, was warmly engaging, as was our server, Daphne, who was prompt and attentive to our every request. ALL the offerings on the menu - from the apps to dessert - were homemade and creatively prepared. Will we come back? MOST DEFINITELY!
Loved that the proprietors have been in the community for ages and enjoy giving back to the community.That being said, my friend and I went to try the place thinking it was happy hour (it wasn't, my bad) but they still honored the drink prices. Staff was overly accommodating in every aspect of our order. It was"seafood Wednesday" so bisque was tasty, shrimp n ravioli was excellent but a tad bit of a small portion.... No worries , they offered a gratis cheese n cracker plate.. Will be happy to go back again!

Quaint and cozy. As I always say they don't make them like this anymore. First time after learning about on LV Restaurant Facebook page. You won't be disappointed. Food was great. The owner came to our table and gave us a brief review of their history. Family owned and operated for many years. Will definitely return.
