the creamy crab soup was delicious. the jambalaya was spicy and not just hot spicy but a full bodied tasty spicy and I wish I had ordered the bowl instead of the cup. the kitchen was closed other than the soups but I'll be back for the full menu
Please update your hours of operation. Came in at 2:10pm on Wednesday and we’re turning away because you were closing but had multiple full tables of patrons.
My husband and I were entertaining a friend from NYC and were in search for a lunch spot. This friend is used to eating in nice restaurants in the city and has high standards. After walking around, we finally settled on Pennsylvania Soup and Seafood House. The staff was wonderful and patient with my friend who had many questions about the different offerings. We all agreed that the food was fresh and delicious. Since moving to the area, we haven't found many spots that we would want to return to, but this was definitely one of them.
Delicious soups! I had the mulligatawny soup for dinner, and a cup was all I needed. Full of chicken and delicious, served with a side of bread and butter. So good I took 5 other soups home to share and freeze. French Onion is out of this world. Can't wait to try to Maryland Crab, chicken rice and tomato soups!
I ordered a salad with steak on top. I've had this in the past and enjoyed it. This time it was nearly inedible. The greens were not very fresh (just a bagged type of mixed greens) and rather than steak, I got fatty slivers of some kind of roast beef. After picking out the inedible parts, there wasn't much left but some blue cheese. It cost me $20.00.
Exceeded our expectations. We had crab cake and fish and chips. Even the salads were way above average. You won't be disappointed. Can't wait to go back.
They are fabulous… Food, service and the owner Keith is amazing. They are a huge asset to our small Borough Community
This place was divine! Took a minute to find as it’s located inside. I was impressed with the baked potato soup! It came loaded with bacon, shredded cheese and sour cream. The crab grilled cheese was beyondddd! Definitely real crab. I even loved the chips which I’m pretty sure are made in house! They’re that good! Birch beer topped it all off, along with good service and awesome company. Perfect for a lunch date! We will definitely be back to try more.
So delicious!
Rainy day. Gloomy Feeling the need to escape the house. Called friends. With Masks in hands and shots in arms we were out the door. Our friends had visited before. Greeted warmly. Seats Covid spread properly. Paper menus. Great selection. Our server friendly and efficient. My Creamy Crab Soup a wonderful creamy texture but not too much flavor. I was very happy it wasn’t spicy hot. Grilled Cheese and Tomato was the perfect choice for my friends. Yummy good comfort food. Nice ambiance too. Thank for a wonderful lunch that cheered us up this gloomy day.
