Food was delicious and service was fast and friendly.

This is a great local place with awesome fresh food, attentive staff and good beer or drinks. Definitely a good relaxing place for a quick bit and a drink. Dinner or lunch, anytime is great.

Been here several times for different reasons and always good. Casual atmosphere with good food. It's a reliable goto.

Good food and a nice atmosphere

Although the food was good here, service not so much. We went there to watch a band play and went a little early since a basketball game was on. As soon as we where done eating our entrees, we were told we have we have 20 minutes left and need to leave. No asking if we wanted dessert or asking if we wanted our drinks filled up which has been empty for quite a while. They avoided our table and any further service from then on so we would leave. Its common for restaurants to have a seating limit but this place had no signs posted and i didnt see anything on their website, nor did they tell is. We had to leave before the band came on to play.

Wow! Just happened to be in Doylestown and it came up on my goggle search, so why not? Super yummy burger with sweet potato fries. The cocktail was fantastic. The staff was amazing, and all is a cozy pub package. Will definitely have to do it again!

It's a great little bar and the food is great. The sweet potato fries are ridiculously good!

We had some business in Doylestown and when we were done wanted to get lunch but nothing too fancy. The Farm House Tavern was suggested and we tried it. We arrived just after opening and there was only one other diner seated. We got a nice table for two by the window. Our waitress was very friendly and took our drink orders while we looked over the menu and specials. My wife ordered the patty melt special with a side of sweet potato fries and I got the Tipperary burger that comes with fries. The meals arrived and the first thing my wife commented on was how good the sweet potato fries were. I had to try one and it was likely the best I have ever had so far. Very crisp on the outside which is unusual and it just intensified the sweetness while the inside was still tender and moist. The dipping sauce added another level of flavor. My fries were good but no equal. The patty melt was good served with caramelized onions and cheese on toasted pumpernickel-rye swirl bread. My burger was very good as well. The place was filling up but our waitress looked after us. It is a relaxing and enjoyable place to have lunch.

First time visit. This place is a gem! All homemade food, excellent staff and very nice even when they were busy. We had the wings and the bleu cheese dressing was the best I ever had. I had seafood mac and cheese and it didn't disappoint. Husband had Tavern chicken sandwich on sourdough that was very good. For dessert we shared a peanut butter chocolate bomb that was out of this world and it truly lived up to its name. We'll be back!

We live in Doylestown and like to patronize local restaurants, especially in these times. After having not been to the Farmhouse Tavern in a few years, we decided to stop in tonight. We waited awkwardly at the front door for several minutes before the bartender emerged from the back and told us to sit anywhere. There were two other tables occupied and a handful of people seated at the bar. We sat down and waited for eight minutes and no one ever came into the dining room during that time. Determining that this wait time did not bode well for the rest of our dining experience, we decided to leave. As we made our way to the door, and finally caught the attention of the staff, a waitress came out to ask if she could help us. No thanks.
