Not happy with service they was rude and if your not a regular they will treat you like an outsider food was great but customer service is as important I been here several times but the last time will definitely be my last I spent good money there to be treated like a criminal I showed respect so they to ask me to leave Because I spent to much on alcohol I seen people trashed there before the point they could barely walk I sure hope it wasn't a race thing but I felt like I was targeted for no good reason DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!! They are better friendly and cheaper places to have a great time also "note negative reviews are deleted"
How can anyone give this place 4/5? I had the fish tacos. The fish was dry, the tortilla was stale, and overall had no flavor at all. My date had the fried chicken sandwich. I don’t know if I’ve ever put a drier piece of meat in my mouth. And this place was packed?!! I don’t understand how this place has multiple locations. The food was awful.
Good food, service was quick despite the restaurant being really busy. The buffalo chicken wrap is amazing. They had a nice "partly" outside bar called the bamboo bar which was fun, the only downside it the waitresses have to run back and forth to bring your food. Cant wait to come back and sit in their "beach" area which I have heard great things about!.
We had eaten here once before and enjoyed it but this time was a mirror opposite of our first visit and maybe that's why it made it extra disappointing. We were asked what we wanted to eat before we had even been asked for a drink order. There was no drink menu. We were told to go around the corner and we could see their drink specials. We ordered their large pretzel which we had on a previous visit and it was very good. Then we ordered our meals and we waited, and waited, and waited some more. Let me also say the place was about 2/3 filled so it wasn't seriously busy. We received no explanation for quite awhile and then were told that they were pushing for our meals to be served and they couldn't figure out the delay. Then the meals came out and it was explained that a burger hadn't been cooked too well done and they had to re-do it. A fry order was missing as well that we had to ask about. There was no offer of any sort of recompense for us waiting about 35-40 minutes between finishing of appetizer and presentation of meals. Smart restaurants will try to make amends by offering a free drink, a free desert or some amount taken off the check. This wasn't a smart restaurant....Too many choices in Pittsburgh area to ever be motivated to come back.
We ordered take out and noticed that there was a new menu. However, many of our old favorites were still on the menu. Unfortunately, each of the items were different than how they have previously made at NPL. Overall, each item was disappointing and the meal was just ok. The side of red skinned mashed potatoes was not edible.
Good food, plenty of places to dine either at the bar or seated at a table. The beers on tap were plenty and the service was great. Plenty of food selections and everything our group ordered was delicious.
Came here for some drinks with friends. This is exactly what we wanted. Laid back atmosphere, good menu, lively without being noisy. I'll be back here again for sure.
The food at this place is good for the most part, though I think they should change from "Coke A Cola" products to Pepsi products and should have caffeine free options for the Sodas Regular and Diet, one thing that I worry about at this location is that the main restrooms are located downstairs and there is no elevator so walking is the only option and that could be a problem for people who can't do stairs that well, also I think that the noise level in most of the place is rather high and that they should add more quiet areas.
Went there last week for dinner with family. Inedible food for 2 out of 4 of us, and I was ill the next few days with dizziness and vomiting. Those dishes were chicken Parm and penne with broccoli and chicken. My husband's mahimahi and sister in laws salad were fine.
I enjoyed my meal when we were there. The wait staff did not rush us yet were attentive to our needs and we were able to sit and talk a while after the meal was over. TheNPL salad with grilled chicken that I got was fresh and was quite large.
