probably one of my favorite Asian restaurants! we made reservations on a Sunday (Father's day) but honestly didn't need them atleast at the time we went.) I order the Egg Fried Rice w/o scallions and it was delicious! my mom ordered shrimp w/ broccoli even though it's not on the menu and they accommodated which was nice. my dad order hot and sour soup, fried dumplings, and an egg roll. it was all delicious and came of reasonably quick. overall I pleasant experience. our waitstaff was very polite and professional. the price was reasonable for what we ordered.

Had their sticky rice in lotus leaves and their shrimp dumplings.First round of sticky rice was still cold inside so I sent it back.Their shrimp dumplings were just one chunk of pre-boiled shrimp wrapped in the rice flour dough. After reheating, the precooked shrimp makes for a tough and dry piece of shrimp. I've been eating there for a few years now and they werent made like that before. Dissaopointed.Other items in their menu looked good but their dim sum options are sub par.

Nice place and atmosphere. I have several food restrictions and emailed with ownership before coming with a large work group. Had received a listing of foods that were safe for me.Unfortunately the wait staff was not familiar with the situation and didn’t understand what I was asking for. I ended up with a plate of meat without much flavor. He had asked me whether vegetables were safe, but didn’t bring me any. When I asked for some sauce, he offered chili oil, but couldn’t identify the oil used in it. Then I asked for Sriracha, which he said he had. 15 minutes later I asked for it again, and he said he couldn’t find any.Giving 4 stars because everyone else really enjoyed their dishes. I understand that going to a place like this with my allergies (wheat/gluten, rice, soy, nuts) is rolling the dice and honestly I didn’t expect them to have many choices for me. Just disappointed because I had worked out a safe meal in advance and was let down. Advice is to make sure ownership will be on site during your visit if you have allergies.

On Monday, April 25 my dear friend and I ate at our favorite Asian restaurant in Cranberry Township. Jimmy Wan's has always had the best quality of food, excellent service, and the prices are great as well. Unfortunately, our Monday visit, had it been our first, would have been our last. Our waiter seemed pleasant and attentive but was insincere and abrupt. We placed the same order we have placed for the past 10 years (I'm not exaggerating). And to our surprise, we not only did not receive the correct order (spice levels were not achieved) but we were charged for vegetables that we have never been charged for in the past. This would be a minor issue had our waiter let us know that there would be a fee for the extra vegetables but he did not. When we asked about the charge he said that it has always been that way and we said that we have never been charged in all the years we have eaten there. He then pretended to confer with the 'manager', I do not believe a manager was present because we could here the loud talking from the kitchen, and came back to the table announcing that the fees would remain. In all fairness, it would be entirely understandable to charge for the water chestnuts, red bell pepper, and onion if they added a significant amount, but they did not. We were charged $1 for each item which added $6 to the total bill. All in all, not the best experience, and if this had been our first visit we would not return. As a side note: the lunch specials were $10 in the past and are now $15. That is why this was such a unpleasant surprise.

We had 5 for an early dinner, all meals were good except mine. I ordered Hawaiian chicken with a red (sweet and sour) sauce instead of the normal brown sauce. The waitress was great and the change order was no problem. The problem was that the chef didn't follow her instructions and put the brown sauce on it anyway. The waitress offered to have it remade but I said that I'll eat it as is. She offered me a bowl of red sauce on the side which helped, but the brown sauce already changed the taste.

Lots of space and all of the staff had masks. I ordered the spinach dumpling for my appetizer. The spinach was thick and very fresh. So fresh that you could smell the fresh spinach aroma. My main course was the classic lo main, I ordered the beggie lo mein. This dish came out piping hot and there was enough noodles for 2 people. Delicious.

It's the best Chinese restaurant in the area, hands down. Clean, friendly staff, and the food is consistently delicious. Highly recommend happy hour (though maybe not during covid as they don't space people out).

I've been coming to both locations for years now and lately this one just isn't as good as the other. Last night I noticed more and more discrepancies between the quality of the two places and I just think I'll start going to Fox Chapel exclusively. Don't get me wrong it's still good food, just not as good as their other location.I did notice that menu prices have gone up since our last visit but they didn't go up a lot, maybe a dollar or two a dish. Although our table was charged $20 for tea bags! I guess they're trying to raise the check totals. I get what they're doing but $20 for a couple of tea bags is sort of ridiculous.

Such a great place and really good food.. Had an hour and a half to get food and too bad it took 20+ minutes for us to flag someone down while sitting at a table at the sushi bar. Ordered immediately and ended up getting soup and a couple beers within an hour to only have to ask for food to go because of prior commitments (food proceeds to come out and we box it ourselves..). Might be thinking this was peak Friday or Saturday night, but just Monday. We'll be back, but Jimmy Wan's, do better!!

good sushi good saki friendly staff
