Just like a small hometown diner should be. Friendly, great service, simple food that's always hot and fresh. Took 26 years to discover this place to go and get comfort food. Tried many things and have been pleased.
found hair in my food twice and on the to go containers, pretty sure the waitress forgot about us, had to get our to go containers from the table they were stored on ourselves.

Pulled pork sandwich was good, but saucy. Ate it with a fork. Great place for a quick lunch. Friendly staff. Nice and simple.

Baked haddock was large enough for 2, tender, and perfectly cooked. Fried oysters were excellent as were the lightly breaded /fried sea scallops. House-made mac and cheese was great first visit but not nearly as tasty on the second visit. Baked potatoes were fresh & hot. Our tossed salads with house dressing were fresh and chilled first visit, rather limp and bland second round. Pies are great, as is the service, and overall cleanliness has a squeaky-clean feel. Eager to return but suggest going early in the evening when not so busy. The crowds of fans surely could overwhelm kitchen at peak hours, but they handle it rather well! Management/owner on-site and it shows.
