Our granddaughter loves this restaurant so we had a take out called in. Our selections were excellent with one exception. The pad Thai was not up to our liking. Dry and a little to much heat. Udon stir fried noodles oh so good !! Crab tempura, pork dumplings and pineapple fried rice great. Highly recommend though for good Japanese quisine
Not only does Kenzo have the best sushi around, by far, but I am convinced that the proprietors are the nicest people in Chambersburg. Everytime I go here, they are so kind and welcoming. Can't recommend enough.
I'm from NYC and I love Japanese cuisine. I moved to the area a couple of years ago and have tried a lot of different Japanese restaurants and just wasn't that satisfied by them. The first time I ate here at Kenzo, I nearly cried. I hadn't had sushi that good since I was back home. I even ordered a diy roll and they replicated my favorite roll from my favorite sushi spot back home.The staff are super sweet and the restaurant is very cozy as well. I'm so happy to have finally found amazing Japanese food here. Definitely one of my favorite restaurants in the area.
Best sushi ? ever hands down and their Thai Basil is so good I'm left speechless.
Everyone working here is very friendly and unbelievable hospitality like if you expect better you better stay home.. just saying. Not only their hospitality is over portioned but so is their meals!!! Hope you enjoy
GREAT vegetarian options, delicious fried rice (which you can get without eggs). Great service and atmosphere. Fast service. Complimentary edamame for our group. Yummy avocado and sweet potato sushi. Enjoyed the onions broccoli and base sauce for the tofu teriyaki but strongly disliked the teriyaki sauce they put on top, which tasted like american barbeque sauce. Otherwise though amazing food and can't wait to come back.
I was in town with my daughter and her fiancé, and it was our first visit to this restaurant. The establishment was immaculately clean, service was extremely respectful and friendly, and the food was absolutely delicious. The restaurant appeared to me to be family-run. There was an extensive menu of sushi and sashimi, which we took advantage of; we also ordered Thai and Chinese entrées. The sushi was very fresh, and I had the Pad Kee Mao with tofu, which came out so hot (temperature-wise) that I still had nice warm food as I got to the bottom of the portion. Our food appeared promptly, all of our portion sizes were quite generous, and all the food was very reasonably priced. My dish had some of the best flavor I've ever had in a Thai entrée, and my future son-in-law commented that his mango chicken was some of the best Chinese food he'd ever had. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this restaurant, and next time I'm back in Chambersburg I'll definitely visit again.
I LOVE THIS PLACE!!! Everything is perfect from the food to the service. The sushi is the best in town (Best I've ever had, personally). The service is always amazing. Server always ask me how the family is when I order pick up. They are just super nice and give you a drink while you wait to pick up your order. Always be my fave!
My absolute favorite restaurant!such great food, I've never had anything from Kenzos I didn't like. The environment is great and the customer service is amazing.. it's like chikfila service but even better.
First time here, server was kind but didn’t understand half my questions (very frustrating). Ordered a teriyaki dish, not great. Think, fajitas with teriyaki sauce poured on it and a couple pieces of broccoli.The soup was good, salad should be renamed to lettuce swimming in dressing. If you like salad dressing with a hint of salad, this is your go to!I also ordered the Shamai (steamed shrimp dumplings) this was the highlight of the meal as they were very good. I could have had that, some veggies and been good to go.Probably will not return.
