Service was great, but we were the only ones there at the time. All the food was amazing. I got shrimp and crab dip and it was definitely delicious but a tad pricey. Nevertheless everything was good.
I had an excellent Spinach salad with grilled chicken and a raspberry vinegrett dressing. I liked the non-franchise, old style, almost hole-in-the-wall atmosphere of the place. The waiter was not only friendly and knowledgeable, he was witty. Just an unexpectedly satisfying dining experience.
We were in Chambersburg for my wife's class reunion. The committee chose Bistro 71 for the group dinner and truly picked a winner. Wonderful experience all around. I had the pork chop (delicious) and heard nothing but rave reviews of the crab cake. Thanks to the chef and staff for a great experience.
Pricey, but you get what you pay for - good service and food with a flair. One in our party had crab cake - the best he’s ever had. One had an excellent filet Mignon.
We had a family gathering (adults) while visiting a local B&B and loved it. The server, Amy, was friendly and helpful with the perfect level of attentiveness. Food was delicious. Loved the signature cocktail the SV 71. Would definitely go there again if even back in Chambersburg.
So glad we found this gem in Chambersburg as we travel I-81 at least twice a year. We had a high-top table next to window; be sure to call for a reservation because they had to turn people away. My scallops were the best I've ever had. My husband had the bleu cheese filet with risotto and amazing brussels sprouts. Don't miss this restaurant; well worth a stop in Chambersburg.
Sat down for a birthday dinner on Saturday evening and had a great time! Nice menu and great service! Very modern atmosphere with indoor and outdoor seating. Decent bar as well as the drink menu! Food was excellent, on the pricey side but we'll worth it! They had a very appetizing lunch menu as well. Will have to go back some time to check it out! Thank you very much and we'll see you again soon!
This is a great contemporary American restaurant fairly close to Interstate 81 in downtown Chambersburg. It is very close to the intersection of Routes 11 and 30. The staff is very nice and friendly. The menu has a lot of great favorites. The bar is nice and friendly. The restaurant is clean and has good vibe to it on busy nights.
Service was fantastic, I ordered 2 martinis and a dessert. My waitress was professional and personable and made me feel comfortable. The atmosphere was fantastic and my drinks and dessert were so great. It was also my birthday today. Best birthday ever tbh
Brought my autistic grandpa here and he loved the martinis. He really likes the olives because they are sour. I had to tip extra because he soiled his diaper at the bar but the staff was very accommodating.
