Tis the season for mango gellatis! Reasonable prices for a must taste attraction, a retreat from the daily ?
One of my favorite places to visit when we come up from Louisiana. I always hate that they are closed during the winter.
I really like Rita's. This location even had 2 sugar free flavors on the day we visited! I just wish they would expand more in Virginia - but until then, will continue to visit when I happen to find them while traveling.
poor customer service, rushed to order, given attitude and felt disrespected. i understand it was close to closing, but y’all had 10 minutes until close. do better.
Favorite summertime dessert place! I get the cotton candy gelati and it’s amazing. I love that you can sample whatever you want. They also have specials for different days of the week!
I love the custard and italian ice flavors. The pretzel nuggets and cheese dip, not so much. They both were really bad. The service is outstanding every time!
This Rita's is consistent. You know what you're going to get when you order and it always tastes the same (in a good way!). The employees have always been nice and I love that you can sample flavors, because, let's be real ... Who really knows what "carnival" and "magical unicorn" taste like?! The daily specials are great deals when I remember to look at the board and choose that item.
My first frozen custard was at Kennywood this year. Best soft serve ice cream I have ever had. I had dinner, went here for dessert.
I expected it more creamy because it's usually made with cream. It was pretty airy but good flavor
The service was quick and the staff was pleasant. My husband enjoyed his 5-layer-gelati, although beware -- large is HUGE. My banana custard cone was delicious!But....there were bits of plastic-y paper in the cherry 5-layer-gelati we also got and had to throw the whole thing out. Scary.
