Great food, gracious staff. Eat here, you won't go away hungry; maybe you'll waddle out .PS: I just had to add the lost cat photo since it's hanging on the bulletin board, in the event somebody may see the lost naked cat. Poor thing! The truck stop cited is just down the street.
Being a traveler, I've gone to plenty of diners. While visiting the Harrisburg area, this diner was recommended. It's in a large and growing area but the diner held on to it's small, neighborhood charm which appeals to me. When I arrived and I seated quickly despite there being a large amount of people...the line moved quickly. The server was friendly and my food was served quickly. The portions were huge (the basic trademark of a good diner). The food was great and was almost too much to finish. It was an excellent meal. The total cost was very reasonable considering what I ordered and how much was on my plate! Then too, don't forget about dessert. All appears to be homemade. When back to Harrisburg for the next car service, this will be be my first choice! Great place for kids and for larger families. The price is right! One word of caution for anyone with an autistic family member, it is loud and a lot of stimulation happening. Enjoy!
A great little gem of a diner. Great service and excellent food. Everything was wonderful. Thank you for a fantastic dinner.
This diner is absolutely wonderful..The food was extremely mouth watering and just yummy..
The Middlesex Diner serves up large portions of good quality classic diner fare with a huge menu to choose from. Our chicken tenders, eggplant parm and turkey dinner hit the spot for dinner during our quick stopover in Carlisle.
Way overpriced!! Horrible quality food. Idk how this place has the reviews it does but people must be blind or without taste buds. Just look at the food that was served to me. Tasted terrible. This cost $20! I’d rather have went to McDonald’s and saved $10 bucks. This places food will put you in the bathroom. Save yourself! Don’t patronize this place. You’ll be glad you went elsewhere.
Had dinner here on a Friday night about 8:30pm. Place was clean, with plenty of seating options. The hostess and waitress were very polite and helpful. I had honey dipped fried chicken, with a couple of sides. All was good and filling. The price was good.
Consistently great food and great service at a reasonable price. Me go-to on the breakfast menu is the Western Omelette, add tomatoes-and it never disappoints. Coffee is good. Servers are always friendly and cheerful. Keep up the good work!
Great Service vary clean and well decorated. The food was perfect. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone. Keep up the great work. I am looking forward to seeing you guys soon.
I have come here before, but only for breakfast. The breakfast was decent. Stopped in tonight for dinner and my friend and I both got the pot roast. It was like someone put chunky dog food on a plate. My sides were fries and stuffing. It’s hard to screw up fries, but they were lukewarm at best. The stuffing’s consistency was like watered down paste. It was like mashed potatoes, but it was stuffing. It just didn’t have any texture resembling any kind of stuffing I’ve ever had. My friend had the same thing, but had cole slaw instead of stuffing which tasted like nothing, according to him. Our server was scattered. I asked for a Pepsi and we asked for rolls. She brought us out peaches. We got boxes for our food, but decided that even the outdoor animals in the neighborhood didn’t need to be subjected to that garbage, so we left the food there. It was horrible.
