Wow, that was the worst food and service I got from McD in a looong time. It took 3 people to get my order in - no ice cream/milkshakes (what a shock at McD right) - went to pay and completely different person than took the order had to re-enter everything like 3 times to get the total - couldn't get a receipt cuz 'they don't get their order till tuesday and we are out of paper', I still think I was overcharged - got the food, 10 pc nugget barely warm and severely dried out nuggets and no BBQ sauce included, 3 large fries (2 cold tough fries and 1 hot with no salt) - I am NOT loving it!!
I was handed my food... double checked it.. it wasn't right... they proceeded to ask for the bag back saying I was wrong and that what they gave me.was ordered by me..... as soon as I handed the bag back they handed me my bag, they gave me another order but acted like it was my fault bc they where a little busy.... as a chef and hv run multiple million dollar restaurants and bars I would have to say yes it's fast food but the professionalism as management was just extremely lacking ?♂️
We're done giving second chances to this location. It is the closest to our home. Last trip the lady dipped her finger in our coffee cup. This time there was over a half hour wait, and after placing our order the car ahead of us was arguing with the window worker for over 5 minutes about her order. In an animated fashion. She did not seem to be getting her point across to the worker. We got a bad vibe and just left and said never again. You lost a customer because to put it politely, ya'll can't get your $#!% together. Whats in this review is only the VERY tip of the iceberg with this place... We can pretend I don't know what it's like working fast food or something, but my fiancee has done this job. She and I are disgusted by their inability to just get it right, and can't bring ourselves to eat food that these folks are preparing because frankly we're a little afraid. There have been good trips here but gaddang, not recently. Not in a long time. Very dissapointing. Waste of gas and waste of a half hour.
A worker in the drive through window forgot my drink and napkins. I had to drive back around and when I asked for my drink they overflowed it and didn’t apologize for the inconvenience. Also the fries were cold.
Like most fast food chains it depends on who's working that day. I made a quick stop for a burger and coffee. Both were warm at best. I think this is the first time a McDonald's burger bun has actually crumbled as I picked it up because it was so dry. But after all, it's McDonald's. Some are better than others.
Ordered from kiosk and still took about 5 minutes for someone to look at my order and realize all the apple pies they had were expired. Kudos for them not giving me expired food but with only two orders in their screen, it shouldn't take that long to get a pie they pull out of a warmer.
Terrible place . I ordered 3 carmel iced coffees my usual I always get. They gave me 3 different of some other coffee. Told them. Manager gave attitude and talked behind my back didn't know I was there. And said very rude uncalled for stuff. Reported to corporate. They didn't seem to care. Worse experience ever. Do not come to this one.
The service here on 1/27/[email protected] the chubby Bubba girl was more worried about her phone than helping me. She made me wait until she sent her text message or whatever message switched then she came over and said what do you need like I broke up her flirt session with some truck driver hopefully the manager reads these and will discipline her she had long hair
It’s unfortunate that while we believe we have come so far as a society coupled with technological advances, there are reminders that we have not. One of these reminders occurred at the McDonald’s on Harrisburg Pike in Carlisle Pa. this morning. I walked in and waited to be attended to at the counter. After a few minutes I was directed to the “kiosk”, which I was not familiar with…..call me outdated, uninformed and/or behind the times but I generally enter these types of establishments and have a direct exchange for goods and services with the employee(s) working there. I explained that I was not sure how to use the kiosk and asked how to insert the US currency. I was told that money is not accepted at the kiosk coupled with the dismissive and impatient tone in the employee’s tone. One of the employees actually came out and tapped the screen (I should give credit for this selfless act) and then walked away as I was in the midst of asking what happens next. Neither of these ladies had any intention of having anything else to do with me at that point. I asked what the store location # was and then asked if I should just go to the drive through but continued to be ignored. So I left and now I am sitting in the parking lot writing my very first review. I couldn’t help but notice in other reviews that this McDonald’s seems to be well thought of or despised, there appears to be no middle ground. At the end of the day, my impressions and experience at this restaurant will be somewhat unremarkable and benign in the grand scheme but it is an example and symptom of the growing problem of a disassociated society. One could suggest just going to another McDonald’s (there were at least 40+ on the stretch of Rt. 81 I was on today), there’s bound to be a location where the employees take their job seriously and not themselves.
Margaret and her team made our visit to this McDonald's very sweet. You could tell she was making a lot happen with a small team, and she still treated us kindly. Everything came out fresh.
