Definitely worth a try. Food was great, reasonably priced. Our server Sally was beyond helpful (i.e. when my daughter couldn't decide between bacon and sausage she offered a half order of each). Vintage coke bottle theme was also really neat. We will be returning!

This is a seat yourself restaurant which for us was a recipe for disaster. The restaurant was about half full on this day. We were told to sit whereever. All available options were dirty tables. but we chose the least dirtiest table. A server did come quickly and wiped our table. This is when our good/fast service stopped. Several waitresses were at the counter standing around. Two more guests come in after us and sat down, immediately got menus and their waitress came right over. While my boyfriend and I still sat waiting for acknowledgment and menus. About five minutes later, the waitress comes with menus and takes our drink order. She is literally back to our table in 60 seconds to ask if we were ready to order. You take forever to come wait on us and then rush us to order? We did contemplate leaving but we were both hungry. And service could not get any worse from here? Wrong! As we watched more people come in and get immediate service again being "benefit of the doubt" people. We thought with so many people coming here to eat then the food must be pretty good. Again wrong! Our food comes out along with a table that came in 15 minutes or more after us. And who gets their food first, well it was not us! Finally, we let our concerns be known about our wait time and then serving a table that came in after us. The waitress stated that the other table only had pancakes and ice. Now maybe in server world that makes logical sense but in terms of principles it was still a little disheartening. As for the food, I had the banana fosters french toast which was texas toast dipped in pancake better with bananas, caramel, and pecans. I expected the bananas to be cooked and caramelized but that is not how they do it at Faye's. They are simply cut and placed on the french toast and drizzled with caramel. Ok. The sausage is the frozen sausage patties that you can purchase at WalMart. The fried potatoes with onions were pretty good. My boyfriend said the chipped beef was lackluster at best. There is no signage that says this is a cash only restaurant. But for your "convenience" there is an ATM machine directly behind the cashier. I will say if you have a little cash, you are ok with gambling with the quality level of your food service, and you just want a basic, no frills, flavor optional, breakfast then this may be the place to go.

We had a very good breakfast this am. Egg/ cheese and sausage omelet was delicious as well as pancakes and made to order eggs. Service was great. Restaurant just needs a fresh coat of paint. We will return again when in Carlisle.

So the food was pretty good and the customer service was pretty good in fact my only complaint is they have these aunt jemima syrup bottles that have the stamp at the top BUT for some reason they pulled the sticker off of all the bottles. The sticker with the famous black woman…….Let that sink in…….

Fay's never disappoints! Huge servings and amazing staff! I ordered the caramelized banana french toast and it was divine! Fay's MAKES Carlisle! Not to mention it's the best diner coffee you can find!

Enjoyed the experience here because I liked the atmosphere and the food. According to our waitress said they are known for their skillets and pecan pancakes. I ordered the fiesta skilled eggs over easy with raisin bread and 1 pecan pancake. My wife ordered the special (see picture). Our waitress was very attentive in spite of being busy and the food came out hot and fresh. The price and quality beat most places locally. The decorations are fun and a throwback with lots of old coke product stuff. They also have hand sanitizer at each table.

This place left me speechless. The amount of food you get for the price is amazing and tasty. The atmosphere feels like your home enjoying mom's cooking. Definitely recommend ?

Wonderful experience here. Service was kind, friendly, and fast, food and coffee were excellent. My waitress was outstanding - attentive and friendly, never let my coffee dip below two-thirds full. Highly recommend!

A proper good old fashioned breakfast place. Great portions. Friendly staff
