Excellent food & service except - The bar server, however;coughed directly into her hands and continued to serve drinks/ food to patrons without sanitizing in between. There was no visual site of hand Sanitizer anywhere on the premises. Honestly, who does that?
Great food great beer great service!!!
Maybe because it was a holiday weekend, or the time we went, it didnât seem like a reservation was needed but I definitely would make one again to make sure we get another table. The inside was very cute and the booths were comfy. Server was nice, drinks were good, and our food came out right away. My only complaint- I am one who looks at the menu before arriving and the menu was limited when we got there. What we chose was still very good, but matching menus on the website/whatâs actually given would be nice. We will definitely be coming back.
Good food, tasty cider and friendly bartender! The pizza was perfectly cooked!
First of all I want to say, we have had several really great dinner experiences here. (That is the reason I didn't rate fewer stars.) To that extent, we decided to try their brunch. Unfortunately we were very disappointed. There was no candied apple in the apple cider mimosa. The Italian Bellini had very little taste and no garnish (some raspberries would have been nice). We wanted to try the carrot cake waffle but they were out of it. He got the Sticky Bun Turkey - sticky bun was very dry and hard to cut with knife, there was no cinnamon glaze, it was completely cold, and nothing else came with it (ie - seasoned potatoes, fruit, etc). I got the Brick Oven Nueske Fritatta - this was awesome. Hot and enough for both of us since his meal was lacking. Our waiter was new and not as attentive as he could have been since there were very few tables at the time. We did have a Buy One, Get One brunch coupon which helped lessen the blow a little bit. Based upon our past experiences, we will be back again for dinner, but not brunch.
Well the water was good… but that’s about it. Ordered a Stella and dirty martini to start. The Stella was warm and the martini didn’t come with the blue cheese stuffed olives as menu advertised. Apps were ehh… brusselsprouts had a very vinegar taste and the crab dip had no flavor. Once we told the server about the warm beer she disappeared for a good 15 minutes. Only to arrive back with another beer, cold this time but wasn’t asked for. Entrees were average at best. Had steak salad ordered med-rare, was very very well done. Also ordered the tuna bowl, the sauce was very salty. Ordered a Prosecco to be served a cocktail with Prosecco. Advised server that was not what I ordered then received my Prosecco which was like warm. Would have let the server know however didn’t see her again for another 15 minutes. To finish off when we did get our bill, it included 2 Stella’s. So we paid for a warm one and one we didn’t ask for. Not much more could have gone wrong.
This is a hidden gem. I almost don’t want to write this so it stays that way but wow. Wow. Wow. Wow. From the moment you walk in, to the moment you leave the entire place is spotless! We had two kids with us who were by far the loudest thing in there! Justin was our server and he KILLED IT. We asked to bring the kids food and apps whenever it was ready. Most places will wait but Justin was coming back with the pizza before we could even tell the kids it was almost done! The food. Oh my goodness the food. Get one of everything I promise you won’t be disappointed. The pork belly, the PRETZEL!! The peach salad! My goodness I can’t wait to take the 3 hour drive back here! Ohhh and they’re a brewery too! So nice cold beers on tap! Be sure to ask for Justin! And be sure to come hungry! This place does NOT leave anything for the foodie out! Pictures do not do it justice!
Great food! Great service! Great environment!
Chose to dine at the Goat for Mother's Day. We were greeted and seated quickly in a comfortable booth. The menu offered a great selection for all tastes and the food was properly prepared and very tasty. The dining room was a little noisy with a couple of rambunctious little kids running around their table and not properly tended to by distracted GenZ parent, but that's just an indication of how welcoming the Goat is to all visitors. I highly recommend the Goat for all occasions.
Good beer, good food. Our waitress was very kind and it was kid friendly. The ONLY thing I didn't care for was that we couldn't get happy hour deals in the dining room...only the bar area.
