The sausage and pulled pork was very delicious! Highly recommend, great customer service and great bbq!
The food is too overpriced and the worst barbecue I’ve ever had in my life don’t eat here save your money.
Food was good. Large selection. I liked the serving plates. They had 3 different sauces you could get/refill yourself.
Went to Dickeys as had a free classic sandwich for my birthday and eat there occasionally. Service was great, food was great and they made my birthday special. Our waiter at Houlihans where we went for my actual birthday didn’t even acknowledge my birthday so this was something it really appreciated at Dickeys. Will def be back with my family.
Dickey's provided food for an event I attended. I was told I'd have a vegan option available by request. My meal consisted of a bag of chips, a cookie (not vegan), a tiny salad of lettuce, croutons and cheese (I know), and something that may have been cheesy mashed potatoes? I was disappointed. How hard would beans, a baked potato and salad would have been? EDIT: they said to email their social media team to learn more about my negative experience. I sent a detailed but very polite email one week ago. No response. So know if you see negative reviews and a response from Dickey's that says "we're sorry to hear about your experience, please email us blah blah blah", they're ignoring those emails. :)
Great spot, great service and the BBQ is good! Been here at least 10 times and each time we are VERY satisfied.
Native Texan here, and this is the closest I’ve come to finding a place outside of Texas that serves up decent barbecue—especially the sausage. The sausage was the star on my plate.I had ordered brisket as well. The meat was fine but it wasn’t cut into nice thin slices like brisket is always served in Texas. So I didn’t get to see evidence of a smoke ring or able to give the meat a nice tug to see that accordion flex effect to demonstrate it was cooked properly because it came to me looking more like pulled pork. But they get points for not drowning their meats in sauce. They leave that up to you. The flavor of the sauce was spot on, but a little too thick in texture like a barbecue sauce from the store. It should be thin. And although untoasted Texas toast bread is what’s traditionally served, the little roll they give you with your meal instead is buttery and savory. I wasn’t angry at it.It all came served on butcher paper and they have pickles and onions to go along with it too. Some of the sides weren’t traditional but I’ll take creamed spinach any day over beans , coleslaw, and/or potato salad. The staff were professional and the facility was clean. I’d come back.
Amazing brisket, ribs, and sides. Best BBQ in central PA! Friendly staff too :)
I had the loaded potato and bf had the pork out plate both amazing.
