This was by far the best Pizza that i have had in years. Thin and crisp. Bubbling hot right out of the Brick Oven.Not only was the Pizza Delicious the price was great.The Service? Out of this world! I wanted to share this Delicious find with my Daughter and these Fine Folks made it happen. They Found a Way. Incredible.I Recommend The Meatballs with Fresh Mozzarella, Ricotta, and Fresh Basil.There is no way to be disappointed with that.
Tucked away in downtown Butler. Great pizza! Brick oven baked. Crispy crust, perfect amount of sauce and cheese. Dined in. Didn’t wait very long at all, 20 minutes maybe. I highly recommend this place if your passing through or if you are a a resident.
Yesterday was Chance’s birthday, he turned two and wanted Macs pizza for his special dinner. It was fantastic. Chance’s favorite paws down was the pepperoni. Today he had a little mushroom and went after it like he didn’t eat in a week. By far the best pizza in butler for man or beast
I have had pizza from all over the US and while living in Europe (Italy and Germany). The European pizza is the best because ALL of the ingredients are fresh and the flour isn't as heavy as in the U.S. which makes a perfect crust. There, pizza sauce is made fresh daily, veggies are freshly picked, and they make and use homemade mozzarella. It is then baked to perfection in brick ovens which brings out and combines the flavors of the ingredients perfectly.I gave up trying to find a pizza place in the U.S. let alone Butler, that can equal a European pizza. My daughter took me to Mac's for lunch. The oven is the first thing I saw when I walked in to my suprise. But when I took my first bite of pizza, the flavor hit me. Fresh melted mozzarella, combined with fresh basil and the perfect homemade tomato sauce. The pepperoni had that European brine flavor to it that made me pause and flashback to the days of sitting outside on a veranda in Germany while eating a flavorful pizza and drinking a good German beer or Italian wine. Those memories are perfection for me and so was my pizza at Mac's.
I like to audition pizza places when I see them growing up in NYC. This pizza just oozed freshness and my rice who doesn’t like pizza loved the Espresso pizza. I love that along with their white pizza!!! I had to call them after tasting to just praise them for knowing what they are doing!!!
So, Max's is the best Pizza in Butler, PA. I got one with XXXmushrooms, XX italian sausage and a bit of X sauce, this time. It was GREAT!!! And the flavor the brick oven gives cannot be beat!! They also delivered it to my car outsideas well. Much better than thebig box places. Give them a try, it is so worth it!!
First time getting pizza from here. Really friendly staff and some absolutely amazing pizza. The crust was crisp and perfecty made while the pizza really blended together nicely.
Very impressed with Mac's pizza. Butler has many pizza joints...candidly most are mediocre or bad. I visit Butler from my home in Minnesota. I was Entertaining & needed decent pizza. Wow! Low expectations...So happily surprised! I fed a group (take out) Mac's Pizza & Calzone. Everyone was very impressed. So we'll prepared, delicious & properly baked. Good ingredients & excellent fresh crust.Not heavy...or too light. Cool young men cooking (owner's?), very motivated to make great pizza. Super clean restaurant!! Great job Mac!!!!
