Finally got a chance to check this place out and was not disappointed. Great food and the owner and staff are just down right awesome. They have a very wide and varied menu which made picking something very difficult, but all that means is I will need to make many return trips to try everything out. And I love me some Boxcar Brewing as well. Highly recommend this place.

Made my second visit on Sun. June 26th. Again the food was EXCELLENT. The meatballs tasted like my Grandma made. We had the pleasure of having JayLEE as our waitress for the second time. She was very attentive, even though it was busy. We didn't notice a long wait time. They are hiring,so if you can replicate JayLee's service-you will earn those excellent tips, This restaurant had a previous owner years ago. His mom did All the cooking. She sat with us and insisted on my Italian try some of her cooking. If she isn't back in that kitchen-she gave her recipes to the chef!!! MAMA MIA!!!!

Absolutely the best pizza around! Nice atmosphere and staff! I definitely will be going back!

Best Pizza I’ve had in a long time! Great hole in the wall place we ran into on our travels. Server Brooke was attentive and so friendly!

This place was EXCELLENT! Not only is it super cute inside, but the food was amazing. We had the thin crust pepperoni pizza and the garlic knots - the dough and sauce was so fresh and delicious! Our waitress, Brooke, was also excellent! I cannot recommend Handlebar Cafe enough and will definitely come back!

Delicious and friendly with a great selection of adult beverages but also very kid friendly!

We got take out for the first time yesterday, and it was delicious! We got the Chicago deep dish, Buffalo chicken pizza, and the pretzel rods! All three were amazing! We will definitely be back! I would recommend to anyone to come here!!

So excited to find this great restaurant! Moved to this area 10 years ago and it took me this long to find the perfect place for pizza. (No, I wasn't trying very hard, we rarely find out and just never thought to look here for great pizza!) But- this is the place! The Sicilian dough was fresh, the cheese/sauce ratio was on point of and there wasn't loads of grease or salt, which is what happens nearly everywhere else. Also- little pepperoni's really are the best, everyone knows that. Everything here tastes fresh and delicious; portions are ample, prices are fair and we are now regulars! It's honestly a relief to find a place that makes such great food. A+++

All through the pandemic, my wife and I tried to support local restaurants. The handlebar was one of them. We stopped there today. As we were walking in, there was a message on the door saying because the credit card companies raised their fees, there will be a 4% charge unless you pay cash. We sat down and we’re told that, not only is there a 4% fee added to our bill, they increased the prices again. We frequent 6 local restaurants including the Handlebar. With the price increase alone, their salads are the most expensive, by far, of every restaurant we dine at. Now add 4% to the tab. We understand some of the price increases but the 4% was the last straw. Instead of charging their customers the actual increase of the credit card fees, about 1/2%, the put the entire fee of 4% onto their customers. We will continue to support local restaurants, just not the handlebar.

We ordered pizza online from The Handlebar Cafe and had it delivered. The menu on the website was very easy to navigate and user friendly. We ordered two medium pizzas to be delivered to our house which is about 5-6 miles away. It came promptly by a very personable delivery driver. It was warm and delicious. We are very pleased. Very affordable.
