We received our food very timely and the door dash driver was great but the food was horrible! It all tasted sour and had a bad smell to it. Very disappointed considering the cost of door dash and we couldn't even eat the food.... it was that bad! Will order from someplace else next time.

I use to order from China Gourmet at least 2x a week prior to Covid. Today will be the last time I place take out or do the buffet.The buffet was gross, hard, cold, and poor quality food. For 9.00$ it was highway robbery. When I complained and asked for new hot food I received the eyeball roll with an attitude. NO ATTEMPT to fix the issues. When I spoke to the lady at the front desk she was rude. Very poor customer service.Today 10-30-21 I placed a delivery order. I asked for extra brown sauce (never received it). Ordered sweet n sour chicken.Only got the chicken ( no sauce) when I called to complain, I received attitude. 30 minutes later…You would have thought they would have sent a whole new meal knowing the chicken would be cold and soggy.This restaurant has been an eye sore now for a few years. It keeps getting worse.It needs tore down and bought out by folks who have the customers best interest first.Very poor quality food and poor customer service.
I have been coming here with my wife for 10 years even tho mr Lee does no longer own it the new owner has always treated us the same as nice as mr Lee the food a little has changed but still very good not one of our orders have been cold or bad always great service and authentic cuisine it's been hard on her since covid has hit but weve always been getting food there last nights was delicous
I will never order from here again. I now order from the Dragon restaurant at the Clearview Mall. The food and service there is excellent!Ever since the new management took over at China Gourmet the food quality is hit and miss. The service is lacking. I always ask for extra duck sauce and never get it. The last straw was when I placed an order for delivery and it was not what i ordered. I called to complain but the lady just argued with me. She refused to send what i ordered or to refund my card. She told me I got what I ordered basically calling me a liar. I'll never go back.
Ordered food over 2 hours ago for delivery. We sat here, waiting and waiting. 2.5 hours later and they send us a message that they cancelled our order. I unbelievable!!

Placed an order online. Arrived for pick up and they said they had not received the order, despite my confirmation. Waited another 20 minutes in the parking lot for the order to be prepared. No apologies, no discount, nothing...Food was definitely not worth the wait. Can get same quality or better in grocery freezer section. ?♂️
ORDER FROM SOMEWHERE ELSE!I am through given this place chances! I have ordered from this restaurant several times in the last almost 4 months and just about time they screw my order up somehow. For instance, I am always careful to specify no carrots yet the majority of the time there are extra carrots. I also always specify steamed rice as I DESPISE fried rice. Tonight, at least they didn't put in the carrots but the rest of my order was a mess. Instead of steamed rice I got a big container of fried rice and for whatever reason, my food was barely even warm. Don't bother to call to complain because they won't fix your order; you will just get an apology that obviously isn't worth anything since issues continue to happen. Shame on me for continuing to give them an opportunity to do better. It definitely won't happen again! Be smart, take your business elsewhere.
