Food is great. Interesting cocktails.

Well, what a hidden gem. We had business in Bethlehem and wanted a nice dinner, with outside dining so the puppy could come. The food was so good. We had the Cajun shrimp and Crab pierogies as an appetizer. Very tasty and large portions. My honey had a shrimp po-boy and I had the shrimp and grits. We both took home half our meals. The food was top quality. I also took home an order of maple cream beignets. They had outside dining in the back, it was so charming, what a wonderful atmosphere. The waitress very charming and skilled. I was so very impressed with this restaurant and definitely will be going back.

The chicken and waffle sandwich was great. The atmosphere is rustic. The staff was courteous and helpful. We will be back.

I have eaten at this establishment in the past and the food was amazing. I was excited to return. However, the best thing we ate was the hush puppies. They were great. The fried green tomatoes had very hard batter on it. The flavor was good but the batter was like eating bricks. The brisket sandwich contained a lot of fat and was basically inedible. The restaurant did comp this meal. The chicken was over cooked to the point of barely being able to chew it (at $26 for the meal this was extremely disappointing, I would rather get the cheap chicken at Acme). The sweet potatoes were very mushy and had too much pumpkin spice(?). This was not mediocre food, it was basically inedible.

This restaurant is incredible!! We wanted to try a local spot after a trip to the casino and we are so thrilled that we did. The menu is unique and has lots of options. My husband, who is not a huge foodie, ordered the chicken and waffle sandwich... he said it was the best thing he's ever eaten. Hush puppies were amazing and so were jalapeño grits. We will definitely be taking the drive back to eat here again, delicious!!

Staff :kind and accommodatesFood: delicious and perfectly cooked. I had the new summer salad with chicken. The chicken was tender and moist. The salad was perfect! I just wish I remembered all the ingredients ?They changed the way they prepare corn bread. It’s better than ever. Each slice toasted on all sides topped with whipped honey butter. The best cornbread I’ve ever had.Ambiance: cozyBeer: tasty but watch out for that double chocolate stout on an empty stomach ?Prices: reasonableI can’t wait to go back!

Great food and we will go back. One of the better places for New Orleans type food. Be sure and make a reservation.

We started with the Gumbo- this was actually decent as it had lots of Andouille, chicken, etc and could have been a meal in itself if you arrived with a small appetite. The only complaint is that it both bowls seemed to have several "globs" of what appeared to be fat. It had some spice but not enough for our taste. Now onto the entrees. My wife had the brisket Mac- she liked it except for the fact that it contained a lot of onions -this was not mentioned on the menu (she always has a reaction to these). My Jambalaya was the biggest disappointment. Other than four decent sized shrimp it was basically rice and roux with some slices of Andouillle mixed in. it had zero spice-anyone who knows Cajun food knows that Jambalaya should be rather hot. Our server was OK- however a long time passed between the soup and main courses. Will not return

Disappointed with Bayou, appertizers were great the rest of meal was very very disappointing my po-boy shrimp was so unacceptable 7 shrimp, very little slaw and tomato’s while my friend had the brisket po-boy hers was full but both our French fries were burnt to a crisp. It doesn’t stop here. Ordered the beignets which were hard as a hockey puck. The waitress was great that’s the only good to say about bayou

Really enjoyed this restaurant. Food is 5 stars and gluten free options are available which helps since I can't have gluten! It's pricey but the food worth every penny.
