Got a bacon, egg and chees on a bagel over the weekend. The bagels are ok though to me they were a little dry, something just wasn't right on the texture, it was the weekend so maybe not fresh? But that's just a minor nitpick. The real disappointment is the so called meat by-product they call bacon. I am not sure what it is but its awful and definitely not bacon. Cannot chew it, it is literally gross. Egg and cheese part of the sandwich was fine. Inside was fine with some tables and more comfortable seating with a bit of a hipster vibe (typical Main St. Bethlehem). Parking in from is almost always occupied by Hotel Bethlehem visitors across the street so easier to park on side street and walk a few hundred feet. Watch out the parking meter Nazi's in Bethlehem will nail you in 2 seconds if your meter expires.

So at first glance this bagel and deli seemed like a standard bagel and deli shop and it wasn't our first pick. We had actually been craving the flying egg that is across the street from this shop but they had a 30 min wait. We were expecting to get some breakfast and be on our merry way, and when we heard the salsa music we figured not bad we might be in store for a decent breakfast. I guess it's true that it's your own race that does you wrong. We were received with subpar hospitality and coming from the hospitality industry, I have a standard scale for customer service and care. We were upcharged for our order and mistreated through our ordering process. We paid for our order with cash, and then he told us he forgot to charge us for something else. Which wouldn't have been a big issue if he hadn't not been so rude to us. We didn't even get a standard "You're Welcome after we both thanked him for taking our order. We sat down and waited for our food and noticed that the treatment changed with all of the other customers. His demeanor changed and he used the politeness that was obviously misplaced when we order. So that's the hospitality side. Now to the food!! The food was decent, everything was cooked in a timely fashion and the condiments are available there and up for grabs, however the home fries were undercooked which is weird cause if your going to charge for it and be extra about it, you could at least make sure they are properly cooked. Either way, the food was decent nothing to rave about. All In all this place gets a 2. I would be petty and go lower, but I understand mom and pop businesses and I'm not trying to ruin it with a bad review, just voicing what I received as a first time customer, who will gladly not be back. I'll reserve my time and dining experience for the flying egg and next time we will wait the 30 mins for something worthwhile.

Love Johnnys. Anytime I’m in Bethlehem this is my go-to breakfast. Their bagels are always fresh and delicious.

Came from Colorado to visit family in the Valley. Stumbled in here with my two hungry boys. The owner made excellent Gyros in a flash. There was a line but he hustled to get us our food and it was worth every minute. Great music too!!! Would highly recommend and will come back for breakfast ☺️??

Called in an order, they said 15 minutes. Go in 15 minutes later, guy behind the counter has no idea i ordered. Yells up to a guy I thought was a customer drinking coffee in the front of the shop, he says oh yeah and begins making the order at that point. While waiting for the order to be cooked, the first guy behind the counter rang me up and charged me for arbitrary items that he said were the same price as what I ordered. The menu with prices right behind him was different than what he charged me, after a little too much arguing he put the right items and charged me correctly. After I payed while waiting for my food, another guy came in and ordered, very clearly, a large coffee. Guy behind the counter grabs a soda cup and walks over to the soda machine before the customer yelled at him for coffee. Food was pretty good when I finally got it, not worth the ordeal though

Had my first bagel here on my lunch break after being away from PA for 8 years and living on Long Island. I was nervous to have a PA bagel again (bc I mean, NY bagels?!? You can't beat them), but this place did not disappoint. The everything bagel toasted with cream cheese was perfect. I wish they had egg everything bagels, but it's ok. The staff was super friendly and the place is decorated nicely. The menu is extensive and I'm sure it's all delicious.

Great little deli with excellent food! Super delicious bagels. Always love this place!!

I love any place that can get my order wrong and still have food that makes me happy ?

Good food! Every bagel imaginable here. As full as this place gets, they got it together. Never a long wait, fast, courteous service. Overall great place for a quick bite!!

We drove up to Bethlehem for a weekend getaway and stumbled upon Johnny's Bagels & Deli. We both got the Dave Evans Cheeseburger. BEST burger I've had in a really long time. It's the end of November however the 2 slices of tomato that were on the burger were as fresh and tasty as if it was plucked from the garden in summer. The gentlemen running the line were pleasant and the shop outside was very clean. 5 stars all the way!!!
