It's a shame I can't rate the bar/club and restaurant separately, as the bars I would rate a 5 while the restaurant is a 2.The beer selection is decent enough and I'm typically satisfied with two or more of their beers made in-house. The service at both the upstairs bar and the downstairs bar is excellent when not so crowded, and sufficient when it's very crowded. The vibe in the downstairs club area is relaxing with decent music and it attracts enough people. My last time at the restaurant was sub-par. Service was terrible, and very obviously so poor because my friends and I were only a table of 6, while a table three times our size was next to us. The waitress appeared a total of four times, and ignored us the rest of the time even when we tried to get her attention, going so far as refusing to make eye contact so that she could prioritize the large table. My beer went dry for long I had to share a friend's glass of water to finish my meal. This wouldn't have been as much of an issue had the food been correct. My Caesar salad had almost no dressing on it, and the fish for my fish and chips was severely overcooked. I was also brought the wrong side. This shouldn't have happened in the first place, but could have been easily corrected if the waitress had returned to our table in less than 20 minutes. It seems like the Brew Works just doesn't care about food service. I'll definitely come back for drinks, but I'll eat elsewhere beforehand.
Went on a Thursday...place a quarter full at 515 pm...workers wandering around and four passed, looked at our table and walked on. Asked one for help and she waved walking by...12 minutes later we left with 2 ladies up front and a worker talking to them at the dias...avoid this place since they apparently don't want your business...
Great food and staff. Enjoyed.
Surprisingly the food here has really taken a turn for the worst. Was here pre COVID and the food was absolutely 5 stars and then some. The service is still excellent beers are still top notch, but the food was rather disappointing across the board. It's a shame, the prices stayed the same but the quality of the food has diminished severely. Night at the bar no problem, looking for an excellent supper to go with that night, start somewhere else..
Seriously one of the worst brewpub experiences I've ever had. Two stars only for the friendly server. The beer and food were both subpar. The fruit IPA tasted like old orange juice from concentrate. The buffalo cauliflower were mostly tiny pieces that look like they came out of the bottom of the fryer, and not enough sauce was provided to coat them. The garlic vinaigrette was not a vinaigrette at all, but a gelatinous substance I couldn't get out of the cup. When we asked for a replacement we were charged for it. The burger was the highlight, but some of the fries tasted stale and some were so tough we couldn't chew them. How do you make fries bad? This place is seriously mismanaged.
this is hands down my favorite place to go for food. my boyfriend and i have been coming here every friday for months and have never been disappointed. everyone is delightful, especially Laura. the food is always great and the beers are my favorite. will always continue to return back here :)
Our hockey club was in Bethlehem for the weekend for a tournament. During a snow storm on January 16, 2022, we walked into this great place unannounced with a party of 20. They gladly sat us with only 1 server. Anna was amazing!! The food was amazing!! Thank you for the great experience!! Thank you Anna!
My husband and I just had lunch at Fegley’s! We were excited to try a Bethlehem restaurant and buy some local beer as Christmas gifts. I’ll start buy saying they had a broad range of beers, our waitress (Sky) was so kind and enjoyable, and our food was good. The service was a bit odd. There was a long backup in the kitchen and when my food came out it was a bit cold because the kitchen forgot to make my husband’s burger. The front house staff also didn’t seem super professional. Though all that being said, I know this is a hard time for restaurants, so am more understanding! Thank you for the meal!
For years I would go out of my way to bring my friends and family to the brew works; hearty portions, great staff, and quality beer no longer seem to have a home here though. The beer seems like they lack on cleaning their taps, the prices have increased significantly while portion sizes have been nearly halved.I would recommend taking your business elsewhere. The brewworks is only riding on the reputation of better days gone by.
On a very cold winter's night, I ordered the Steelworker's Chili and looked forward to a warm, satisfying meal. The chili was like thin tomato soup with a few beans and ground beef floating in it. It was tasty but appeared to be the last dregs of the pot. If you are out of an item, rather say so than disappoint the client. The sandwiches and beer were good. Also, we had to ask for the check three times from a server who did not have a full station.
