We went to Carlos Bakery in Hoboken many years ago when the show was popular. We waited in line for our goodies and they did not disappoint. We took our kids to this shop as we traveled in Pennsylvania. We were so excited to share it with them but we’re so disappointed. The food is overly priced and the taste is completely different. The o my thing that tasted good was the sugar cookies. The lobster tails were dry and small, the cannolis were subpar. We paid so much and we were very disappointed.

First time here couple years ago for my birthday. Cakes were great. Back this year for birthday a week ago, very disappointed. Cakes not like before-- texture, taste, icing, all different. I have half slice of carrot cake in refrigerator which I think will trash. Emeril's saved the birthday as always.

Let me just start with O my goodness!! We bought 2 slices of cake and Buddy's Box (2 Lobster and 2 Cannoli). I make my own Cannoli and I'm from Jersey City Nj, so I know Cannoli. Everything was delicious, I can't say I've ever had better. Lobster was so crispy outside and the cream inside was smooth and creamy, delicious! Well worth the wait and price. Espresso on the other hand tasted like regular coffee.

I have been buying all birthday cakes here since I moved to PA almost 4 years ago. Bought a huge cake for my daughter's 9th birthday. It was beautiful and delicious. We gave it a little extra theme decoration. My only 2 complaints are the inscription of the name could of been much nicer and larger, didn't like it at all.( And I am a chef). And the female manager there needs to be replaced. Staff have always been friendly and nice to deal with except for this time. She's miserable

Love , almost all their bakery goodies and of course, they specialize on cakes! It’s very convenience place , inside the mall.Just missing their outside the store setting due covid.

My best by far was the chocolate cake. It was soft, tasty. Not heavy except for my scale. Lol. It was all good though. T-shirt was true to size

I ordered from here when they first opened at it was great! That was the last time I had something good from this place. The last cake I purchased from here was old, the frosting was hard/chewy and the cake was old and dry. I can appreciate trying to maximize profits but don’t pass off cake that should’ve clearly been thrown out to customers. Won’t order from here again. Support the local bakeries since this place has lost that family touch apparently.

So many choices and fresh made. Very well displayed and fun place to visit.

Ordered a rainbow cake for my daughter's birthday it was expensive and DRY like stale toast inside. Clearly it was old. I tried speaking with the manager but she was rude and snide. She blamed the coronavirus which is getting pretty old. She said they were made fresh daily so how did covid get blamed. The only good thing about this place is the young man with the puffy hair. He was helpful. Time to get a new baker and manager Buddy

Hey Carlos, while you sit in your overpriced home, that we the People Built, Your Loyal customers are being denied cakes being made.Your Workers are rude over the phone, and I still haven't gotten an email response from your managers. As I read over all the reviews its true you are overpriced and taste no different than the bakery down the road. That will be my new bakery, no more making the rich richer., the greedy greedier. based on your reviews looks like it's time to close shop. No Thanks to you wasting my time, and for Dening my Grandsons Birthday wish! oh PS stop Blaming everything on COVID.
