Two stars for food being somewhat edible. Rest had to be trashed, once we gave up the struggle.Rest is downhill from there:1. Portion sizes less than other Indian restaurants and hence costs are a bit less (maybe $1-2 less depending upon the dish).2. Most other Indian restaurants in US serve seasoned rice (ghee/peas etc) with the curries, here it is just plain boiled white rice.3. I ordered two entree dishes - both had the exact same gravy - the exact same gravy and the description online does not state that nor gives any indication of that. Nor does in any world do these two below mentioned dishes should have the same exact curry:I got the dum aloo and malai kofta - the dum aloo is not dum aloo by any means and it is basically a kashmiri stuffed aloo type dish4. Both the stuffed aloo and the stuffed kofta had both the stuffing and outside balls that were extremely dry - the koftas were super hard and so were the aloo - and that is not how it is supposed to be - they were so hard that is was an ordeal for us to break them to eat them. The stuffing was some extra dry stuffing over-seasoned with aromatic spicesThere is a reason that inspite of the logistical issues they were able to prepare these dishes in 10 minutes just after they opened - because they either served me stale dishes from prior days or just took a gravy they had just cooked and put these pre-made aloos/kofta balls lazily into the same curry. I am not visiting this place ever again.I also had a lot of logistical issues with the pick up order where doordash and this merchant blamed each other and then doordash charged me twice for this order and randomly canceled it prior and the restaurant told me they never received the order when I called in on my way there to get an eta - it was quite ridiculous. However, this review is not based upon that experience as I appreciated the fact that the manager/owner chose to still take my order on the phone and seemed genuinely clueless. So I am just taking into consideration the food in my review.
Ordered take out while visiting our daughter. Food was good, spiced according to our request. Prices were very reasonable. Plenty of vegetarian offerings on the menu. Will be getting food from them again.
I ordered take out from this restaurant a good number of times already. I love their food and very good authentic Indian cuisine. They moved from the plaza on Knight Rd to now relocating on Street Rd Bensalem plaza. Due to Covid, there’s no dine in open to their customers, only take outs. Based on the quick chat with the staff/manager, they do take uber eats, grubhub, doordash as well.
Tastes good but you don't get much for the money. I got the lamb and got maybe 5 oz of meat. The rice looked to be about a cup or a cup and a half. With the price of rice I never understood the point of skimping on it...
My dinner was the best food I've had in a very long time. Go here and eat you won't be disappointed.
I ordered takeout through door dash and I was so happy with the entire experience. The front desk man was friendly and quick. The food was so hot and fresh. I will be coming back!
Food is good, chicken is tender but for a place with spice in their names the Tikka masala had zero spice to it. In fact, it was sweet.
Authentic Indian food.
Chicken Tikka marsala was delicious, the goat curry is out of this world, it has bones in it.... get over that, and you will enjoy it. My opinion. thumbs up all around. Good folks too.
We ordered some meals which is chicken Briani , fish curry and some garlic, onion bread. We tried to find chicken from chicken masala. Sorry but you need to add some taste on your food. Completely no taste.
