The food was very good and good atmosphere
This place is awesome. First time here but already planning the next visit. Great food and great store and bakery. You will leave with more than just your leftovers.
Best authentic Mexican restaurant in the area or maybe Philadelphia. Look a little bit sketchy in the entrance because its a supermarket and bakery too. Inside the place you can feel like you are in Mexico. And the prices is decent or cheaper comparing to other Mexican restaurant so don’t expect anything fancy.
OMG this is a gem. Store is very fun, but the food is absolutely delicious. Our server was Colombian and sooooo nice. This will be my place to go to when Im in the area.
I love going here for the bread! It’s always so good! I just wish they would take out the older staler bread and put new ones in, shouldn’t make so much if it doesn’t sell well. People like myself will always come in for delicious bread anyways!! I love the grocery store selection - the restaurant selection is pretty good too! Really good Mexican tacos. I just wish the people working there were nicer, it seems when you ask them questions(especially the cashiers in front)they give you an attitude and seem like they don’t want to help. I will keep coming only for the bread!!
Great place , awesome food , the real deal , I went there almost everyday for the last month , fresh fruit juice, fajita, beef soup, Eve thing is perfect,,,, I strongly recommend this restaurant
This place is a gem. You want authentic Mexican fare from baked goods to groceries, this is the palace. If that isn't enough their food is out for this world. My job goes here for lunch sometimes and when they do it's such a happy day in the office. I highly recommend getting their stone bowl with grilled steak, chicken, shrimp, and cactus....chef's kiss it's soo good. Their rice and beans is some of the best I e tatted alongside the special sauce that comes with their stone bowl and their Verde salsa ??? the smells from this place when you walk in are intoxicating! The bakery is mouth watering. Please do yourself a favor and check out this Street Road treasure!!
I go there for seas of smile and the last time I was there went into the Mexican store and oh my goodness I can't believe I never knew of this place and it's greatness!!! It has everything! It brought back my childhood! It has a little restaurant inside which I can't wait to try! Also has milkshakes, donuts, sweets to dolls, a little Mexican food store as well! This place is a hidden gem!!
I asked for enchiladas and this is what I got. The tortillas were at the bottom of the plate and everything was just thrown on top. I thought the meat and everything was supposed to be in the tortilla rolled in and just the sauce on top.
I meet the owner of this establishment, very nice person. But when he is not there his staff is rude. They talk to you like your bothering them. There is a guy I think he is the store manager, he is rude and don’t know how to speak to people. It’s a shame they have people like that working he is messing things up for the owner of the store. Other then that the store is nice and clean. Love the sweet bread.
