This was our go-to diner spot for a while but we haven't visited in a long time. On Sunday we went for brunch. There was no wait, and our server was very nice. Food came out promptly. However, we were placed in a round booth with an infant carrier, which to me, didn't make sense, didn't exactly make things easier on us. Our server forgot a few things a number of times, as well as for a table that came in after us. I was mostly satisfied with my meal (got the creamed chip beef), however hubby got the corned beef hash and was not a fan as it was burnt. Our bill was pretty cheap so we won't completely discount this place, it was just okay.
Very much enjoyed my dinner here. As something different, I ordered Eggs Benedict with lox instead of bacon as I don't eat pork. So, not only does the restaurant serve breakfast all day, I was able to eat something that I can't normally get. The good was great, the server was attentive and the atmosphere was pleasant. What more can a customer want?
I don't have much good to say about this place, the food was not good the waitress I had was more interested in talking to the young guy that was the cashier. I must have asked her 3 times for sweetener for the iced tea. The only thing that was good was the soup the meal that I ordered I ended up leaving most of it there. And they only had 2 tables with customers in the whole place and I was one of them. This place gave up !!The one star was for the soup. Will never go back.
It's a shame the other owners sold it. At least they kept the cook. Still good food except for not telling us it was beef bacon. They tried to push as pork. It tasted like beef jerky. Also the restaurant and bathroom was dirty. Small booths too. And I'm not a big guy...just tall. Not going back anytime soon if at all and I use to go all of the time.
Was a wonderful place in the past. New owners have taken this gem to a new low. Nothing tastes right. Everything is over Salted. Staff don't care. Orders come out incorrect and they do NOTHING to resolve. They blame the customer for not being specific.My most recent experience, my friend order a hamburger with ZERO on it, came out with all kind of extras.I Ordered a French dip and there was no cheese and enough salt to melt the highway in a snow storm. Server said it was my fault.The french onion soup was pathetic. Being an accomplished cook, it seems like they threw a bunch of onions in water and some chicken stock. No color, zero flavor.At the register the owner never asked how was everything and never even said thank you.What was once a gen is now become an absolute disgrace. STAY AWAY!!! Very sad.
Menu photos are from 2.26.2022Fish tank took me back to dinner restaurants I remember from being a kid, always liked that!Good food and our server was kind and competent.I had the turkey club and my only gripe was it's literally too large to eat. I was uncomfortable opening the mouth that wide to fit in that sandwich even after I squished it down BUT the lettuce and tomato was fresh and the bacon was kitchen cooked...thumbs up!! a lot of businesses are moving to buying pre cooked, delivered bacon so this was really tasty.I took it home and it made me 2.5 sandwiches on my fresh home toast lol.Nice place and I liked the wifi on the wall sign too.Oh and my friend with the ravioli and HUGE meatball said that beast was stuffed too.Chicken Parm came large and with a separate pasta bowl.Definitely taking leftovers home from here.Nice looking desserts but didn't give them a try today.
Looking for fast service, good food and huge portions this is it. Stopped by after the theatre and were pleasantly surprised. Excellent staff, great looking desserts. We all took a box home.
The food was ok. Experienced the usual dinner issue of too many items on the menu. They need to decrease the size of the menu.
I have not been here in years. We used to go quite frequently. I was visiting my sister and said "Let's go to the Clubhouse Diner" What a mistake. It is filthy! Booths, windows haven't been cleaned in what looks years - dirt and grime on windowsills where you are sitting. The baseboards and walls dirty. The restrooms forget it! They were filthy!This place needs thorough cleaning, fresh paint or something. I can't imagine what the kitchen and cold boxes look like.This must be new ownership or something, but I would not receive eating here!
Wow this place was great ! Breakfast home fries were delish with pepper and onions. Scrapple cooked perfectly and nice thick slices. Generous portions eggs were fluffy not dry. Everyone is so friendly! Jennette our waitress was the best !!
