So I head skeptical about the Resturant but we had a large party and thought we’d give it a shot. I had read the reviews and everyone raved about the food. They were right. Food was outstanding and the portions were huge! We have a lot of leftovers. I wasn’t happy with our waitress who wasn’t friendly. The reason I gave it 4 stars because of the unpleasant welcome but more importantly I was SHOCKED that they charge 5% if you use a credit card. Seems like that should be advertised upfront. I would’ve gone somewhere else if I had known. They do have an atm insight but still. It wasn’t something I had planned because we had a large party
We wanted to try this place. It's a nice place but I have had better pasta meals at other places for less. Disappointed it didn't have a bar. Many locals who frequently go there bring their own wine, beer. It was rather busy though. It's been there for some time so they are doing something right
Love coming to Villa Capri with family and friends. The garlic bread is so good as well as the vodka sauce!!
-Missy was the best server you could ask for! She is professional, courteous, and friendly. Food-6 stars if I could give that! The portions were huge, the food was hot, and the fact that we had actual Italian dishes were out of this world! Great atmosphere, family friendly, definitely a hidden gem
The BEST Italian food around, hands down! Service was impeccable (ask for Missy) and everything was cooked correctly and quickly!
Villa Capri is a hidden gem! The food is delicious, and the portions are extremely generous! The chef and the rest of the staff go above and beyond to make sure you have a great dining experience. Already looking forward to our next trip there!
Hubby got the shrimp fettuccine alfredo and I got the 3 cheese tortellini with vodka sauce. The portions justified the prices and we have leftovers for lunch tomorrow. The server was very kind and attentive. It was really nice that we were able to bring our own wine in. We had a wonderfully romantic Valentine's dinner and we'll be sure to come back again.
So I'm sure that reading all these 5 star reviews might make you suspicious, I know I was. I've lived in a small town before where "great food" to the locals was actually just mediocre to the rest of the world. But since I started dating an Italian from Long Island I've gone to Las Angeles, Portland OR, Boston, NYC, and had genuine homemade Italian family dinners. So you'd better believe me when I say, Villa Capri ranks number two on my list for Italian dining, second only to my girlfriend's family's cooking. The common points others have made are true. The portions are large, and I overheard the waitress telling someone that they really want it to be enough food for two meals. The wait staff was friendlier there than any other place I've been, including my own grandmother's kitchen on my birthday ?. Seriously, we got out to the car and had forgotten our leftovers and our waitress ran it out to us. My god I could've hugged her.The food was bomb. It's hard for me to eat Italian because I'm mildly lactose intolerant and don't do well with carb heavy meals, but the baked salmon dish I got was incredible. My girlfriend got gnocchi in vodka sauce and loved it, and she's veeeerrrryyy particular about her food. When dessert came along she got a raspberry tiramisu and I ordered the lemon pie gelato (honestly I may go back just for the gelato). So yeah, if you're considering going to Villa Capri, JUST DO IT!
Staff was great and food was delicious! Portions are huge, I think we'll get 2 more meals from our leftovers!
So happy they have rigatoni still! One lady told me that we are about the only people who order it, so I thought it may be taken away. Thanks for keeping it. Nice to have a local option for good food.
