No good. I was excited because we need more healthy options fast. Also I lovvvveee salads, but it’s basically just iceberg lettuce with some generic toppings and dressings and it costs like 13 dollars for a salad that lacks character and flavor. Seriously, if you want a fast salad bar salad go to Hoss’s, save your money. Your better just to buy leafy greens at the store and look up TikTok salad recipes.
This place is a gem! Stopped on the way through town while craving something green, and was thrilled with The Lettuce Bowl’s options. I got a create-your-own with romaine, chicken, mozzarella, cucumbers, tomatoes, banana peppers, and olives for only $9. Their ability to adapt specialty menu items, turn salads into wraps, or create your own—plus awesome customer service—have us sold. We’ll be back!
Stopped at the Lettuce Bowl while traveling through Altoona. This place is an absolute gem! Fast-casual salads, wraps, and healthy foods. Will absolutely be returning any time we’re coming through. Absolutely recommend ??
I was totally stoked to try this restaurant, based on a co-worker's recommendation.Unfortunately, my meal definitely did not live up to the hype. Menu is lacking in any kind of creativity. I ordered a cobb salad with green goddess dressing. No option to add chicken, which was okay, but a little disappointing. Salad was really small, the lettuce wasn't cut all the way through which made it really difficult to eat, the hard boiled egg was way overcooked, the bacon bits were clearly from a jar or pouch, and the avocado was so under-ripe, it was literally inedible. The dressing was oily and tasteless. Save yourself a disappointing experience and order from anywhere else. I've had better convenience store salads.
This place is terrible. The owner is rude and not about other small businesses. She must have had my other review taken down when she first opened because she had a food truck that made burgers, steak sandwiches and stuff kicked out of the park hills plaza parking lot. If you don't like the reviews fix your ways. Idk how her food is now but I don't recommend this restaurant to anyone when someone is rude and doesn't support other small businesses. When I did order food, my lettuce was brown and slimy and my sandwich she would not let me get other bread. If someone is allergic or has any type of allergies to certain things you should allow them to request different stuff. I hope her attitude and stuff has changed from the beginning because I was not impressed. I will never do business here again just simply because of her not supporting other small businesses. Don't be rude and change your attitude towards others. A smile and a kind heart gets you more customers.

I ordered a Cobb wrap. I assumed it would at least have some lettuce in it. I was wrong. It was literally just the Cobb salad toppings in a wrap that was then saturated in dressing and rolled into a ball. It had so much blue cheese crumbles that I couldn't even choke it down. Would have been so much better had they added the lettuce vs just the toppings. Also, way too much dressing. It was leaking out of it. Since the toppings were piled in the middle and balled up it was very difficult to eat. Would probably try a salad but won't get a wrap again.
was kinda disappointed when i walked in and it was just a salad bar. i was definitely expecting more than that. yes they have wraps and a panini was being featured but just wasn't pleased. the salad was good but u can save alot of money buying all the ingredients and making it yourself at home.
I have to say since my first trip in after they opened I’ve been hooked. The girls in there are very friendly and helpful. If y’all haven’t tried The Lettuce Bowl need to get it together and go today!! I’ll wait!!
