We had two rather expensive dinners tonight and they were both way over salted. Ruined the flavor of the dinners. Definitely not worth the price. Server was wonderful even though he was overloaded as a float server. Stick with the bar food. Don't mind paying the price if the food is good.

We love Tavern 27. They have amazing drunken mushrooms. So tasty!!! They serve Pepsi products which is a plus. I have no complaints about the service.
About once a year we give this place another shot.The food is good. Crab cakes are wonderful. But the place is chronically understaffed and there is always confusion Case in point.. We were seated promptly in the dining room which was maybe half full. It was already fairly late and it appeared that most diners had already eaten. The waitress who was serving the table next to us took our drink order. About 10 minutes later another waitress threw glasses of water on the table and left. First waitress passes our table several times and when I ask about drinks she tells me she isn't our waitress HUH? Second waitress eventually brings drinks and an attitude.We place our order.45 minutes later we get our salads.By this time we are one of two tables in the place. So,if you go, plan on spending the evening.
I'm giving this place a 3 star rating because of two things..there was Noone at the hostess stand when we arrived for a group reservation. The pulled pork sandwich had a yucky after taste. I love these and was sorely disappointed; however everyone that got burgers said they were fantastic!!

Its difficult to find good help, and I know they have gone through some staff changes. Seems like everything is back on track. Our food was the best we've had in a long while. Everything seemed fresh and prepared perfectly. I server was quick and good at her job. Major staff improvements noted!

Beautiful view of the sun setting into the mountains...BUT THE REALLY BEAUTY IS THE FOOD!! not only did it looked like a masterpiece but it tasted AMAZING. This restaurant is the undiscovered treasure we've been looking for. I didn't even realize it's open to the public, omg ?[email protected]!!! Do yourselves a favor and check Tavern 27 out ASAP.
