We were seated on a not very busy Saturday night. Waited about 10 minutes and not once were approached by a server. We made sure to stop by the host/hostess station on our way out to let them know. Their response, “yeah, you were seated awhile ago. So sorry.” We let them k is our review would reflect our (non)service. Disappointed and not expected.
Good food, good service. We shared a Pastrami and Cheese sandwich and boneless chicken with Sweet Heat sauce. The sandwich has fries and coleslaw IN the sandwich. Normally I don't like coleslaw, it it was good. Not wet and creamy (I hate that). Definitely get alcohol during Happy Hour. The Drunk Duck is tasty, but sadly not very strong.
Will not do take out here anymore. This is the second time we have done take out at the Primanti Bros. Altoona location. First time was a buffalo chicken sandwich.new asked to please put veggies on side so bread did not get soggy. Got home, veggies were on the sandwich and no dressing. Made do with mayonnaise. Disappointed! So we gave them a second chance. This time we ordered two fish sandwiches. I told waitress on phone we wanted, two fish sandwiches. Told her we want lettuce, tomato, pickle, and tartar sauce on the side. Said I wanted nothing on bread but the fish so bread don’t get soggy. Got home veggies were on the side. No, pickles. No tartar sauce at all. Cheese on sandwich. Had to peal off cheese and throw away, as we cannot eat cheese. Then had to go back out to store to get tartar sauce. Had pickles already at home. Why can’t this location get orders straight. How hard is it to do. Will not order take out here again.
Beautiful bar. Huge variety of beers on tap, even seltzer. During happy hour ALL drinks are half off, great time to try their fun cocktails.
This was our first time eating here and I have to say it wasn't really that good. Got their original sandwich with Pastrami. Everything was overdone. Pastrami was really dry and overcooked, Fry's looked and tasted a bit burnt. Took almost 15 minutes just to get beers to our table and it wasn't busy. May try this place again but wouldn't recommend getting the sandwiches might try the pizza.
It's just a replica of Pittsburgh, there is just something better about Primanti in Pittsburgh... the taste, quality, everything. I don't care for how it just feels like a bar. I wish it was separated better in some way.
Always a great time! Food was excellent. Amber was incredible behind the bar. She was prompt and made sure we were taken care of! She even went above and beyond to create us a new drink that was one of the best I have ever had. Highly recommend!
Convention is in town and permanti is just a slide, twist and turn from it. Place was packed but even with all those customers we got our to go orders quick.Price is always great and the sandwich I got was absolutely delicious.
Great food, great people,awesome atmosphere! Sandwiches are huge and tasty! Good beer selection! Fun place to eat with friends!
Ordered the Pizza that was BOGO with code with pickup. Was really good and as soon as pulled in she came out with pizza.
