This is the best restaurant in town authentic Mexican cuisine.Service was great ordered drinks server left 2 pminutes later drinks were on table after getting food waiter was always asking if we needed anything elseOrdered main courses and within 5 minutes our food was on the table hot and exactly what we ordered
Will definitely be back when in town. Many authentic Mexican options on the menu, and all the food that we had was delicious. Ordered the Mayan Tacos with double tortilla to support all the delicious filling. The carnitas were huge flavorful chunks but a little dry - would be better with smaller chunks of meat. If you like spicy, ask for the house habanero salsa - flavorful and a 4 out of 5 of heat. The drinks were bangin'. The flan was a little overdone with flavors of burnt sugar rather than caramel, but delicious, nonetheless. Service was impeccable (shout out to Denise). Def will be back!
The food is delicious, and even though they were very busy, the service was quick and correct. Really enjoyed it. The only reason to not give it 5 stars is the music! They played typical Mexican music over the speakers, which is great, but it was SO LOUD that we couldn't even have a conversation at the table (and we weren't even sitting near the speakers either!) We pretty much had to shout to hear each other. I will definitely order from here again, but probably get it for take out.
My husband and I went here last night for the first time since they have opened. The restaurant is nicely done but lacking the Mexican vibe you get when you walk into a Mexican Restaurant. They don't have any of their drinks listed on their menu so you have to ask what they have to drink. I do know they serve C oke but other than that I have no idea. The food was good but lacking in that Mexican flavor I was expecting. I thought the prices were a little high for this type of restaurant. The restaurant itself reminded me of a fancy restaurant that serves Mexican food. The wait staff all seem to be very serious about their jobs no smiles on anybodies faces. I know they just opened up and I am sure they are busy right now with them being a new restaurant in the area. Being friendly even when you are busy can go a long way for repeat business.
My party was skipped over and we waited probably an extra 20 minutes on top of the already promised 30 minutes due to being busy (which was okay, until we went in to check on our spot in line and saw nanes below us crossed out, with the same number party as us?)….with a hungry toddler. Our waitress was not attentive. Only took our order and never checked on us again but saw her many times throughout the restaurant. And the manager was very unapologetic and seemed not to care when “apologizing”. Had the situation been met with a better attitude upon the staff, this experience could have earned a 4 or 5. Customer interaction ruined this, honestly.Note- we didn’t get any alcoholic beverages. I’m gonna chalk that up to why we weren’t checked on, and revisited. Probably not the best family oriented atmosphere (as of now, anyway )
Drinks were good but expensive.
I love this place. It's our new date night place. Their margaritas are exceptional. I had 2 and I was drunk lol. The only dish I tried so far is the California burrito which is ammmmmaaazing. I've actually had it twice! Next time I'm going to try something else. (Maybe) We went there on a very busy night and the business was still exceptional. I didn't wait long for our food. Our waitress was super nice. You guys also hired one of our favorites from somewhere else ? can't wait to come back!
Upon arrival, signed a wait list to seating (2 adults and 1 child) and was told 30-35 minutes. After 40 minutes of waiting went to check on wait list status, and to my amazement we were skipped right over with 5 other people on the wait list crossed off below my name. When I asked the manager, Jorge Vincente, all he did was look astounded and apologized for it. Our waitress, once she took our order, disappeared and never returned to our table to check on how we were doing. Had to ask the manager for boxes and check. The table next to us had the same issue with waiting for check and boxes. The food is average at best, and personally don’t believe it’s anything special compared to other Mexican restaurants. I’m not just trying to speak bad about their food because of the experience, I’m just stating my personal observations. All-in-all won’t be returning anytime soon, and it’s not worth revisiting.
Prices may be a little steep but the food and portions well worth it. The service was spot on. Only negative thought is they need bigger salsa bowls! Will def make this one of our 3 places to eat out!
The food was amazing and the service is great. A good addition to the area. Even the baby approves of the food
