The atmosphere is nice, music not too loud, the staff friendly and accommodating. The food was okay. I'm vegetarian, and while they offered a number of combinations, there was nothing that stood out. Food came hot and quickly, taste was on the bland side. I cannot speak to the specialties on the menu, though the grilled entree a fellow had at the next table smelled good. I had come here two years ago while passing through, and I gave them a second chance. On the whole, a good restaurant but I hoped for a bit more.
So disappointed. I ordered chile rellenos to go, a stuffed poblano pepper and when I got home, what I had was stuffed green pepppers. Not at all what I ordered. I'm assuming a cheap way out.
Great food, frozen Margareta's were great and the big draft beers were huge nothing to not like, but they didn't have cable service to put the Pirate game on the screen so 4 stars only, fix that problem and it's 5 stars !!!
We LOVE coming here for the amazing food and drinks, and the friendly staff. We've had a perfect experience, every single time!
We had a few issues with our take out dinner. I called in and talked to the manager. I wasn't complaining or angry. I just wanted to get the rest of our order. The manager was extremely nice and more than made it right. We love their food and will continue to eat there and recommend them.
We had a great lunch at El Campesino in Altoona today. The service was great and we loved the food. It reminded us of our favorite Tex Mex restaurants in Dallas. We had chicken and beef enchiladas and tacos. Refried beans were also excellent. Can't wait to go back even though we live about 50 minutes away. Thanks guys!
Not the best Mexican flavors I’ve had. Found the food generally rather bland. I didn’t consider it a good value.I’m not from this area which could be part of my disappointment.
We’ve been coming here for years. The fun, friendliness and fabulous food is provided by a great staff.El Campesino is our go- to Mexican restaurant and we go there a lot!
I havent ever had a bad dish here. The super burrito was very large but so was my appetite! Love u camp
We went here for the first time and it was great. I don't know why we never went here before! The food was hands down amazing and I also love the strawberry frozen margarita. The large are huge. Halfway thru I was getting a lil warm ?
