Yocco’s really is the king of hot dogs! A friend kept talking them up and I thought “yeah yeah yeah…it’s hot dogs” but during a run to Shangy’s we stopped and well, he was right! The chili sauce is outstanding, the dogs were cooked to perfection and the pirogies were also perfectly done. Stopped again a couple days ago for the same experience! This time got three doggie packs and some extra chili! You get a free hot dog with every doggie pack, too! Wolfed down those three dogs in like 90 seconds flat!! ?

My hot dog roll did not look or feel fresh. My hot dog was hard and burnt and did not look like it was being turned on the grill. And honestly they did not taste good even our non burnt one. Wish they would change hot dog brands. Potts is much better. Not returning.

Hot dog buns were disintegrating because they came out sopping wet, cheeseburger was inedible, fries were old, cold, and unsalted. Last 2 visits couldn't have been more disappointing. This place used to be solid! Onion rings were great, though!

The hot dogs are still the same, but they changed the rolls, from Valeo's to someone else. Too much dough on the ones you use now!!! They take away from the doggie.

The young clerks kept talking with each other while I was giving them my order. Really rude behavior. My order wasn't complex or difficult but I guess the conversation they were having was too important to wait until my order was finished. When I walked up to the countertop I wasn't greeted by anyone at all. It was three young ladies. The food was pretty good.

Iconic local hot dog joint...for some an acquired taste. Food was on point this time...as it is most times. I did find the hanging of a handwritten sign stating to "use your playground voice, we're not playing charades" rude and distasteful.

Nah. I wouldn't re-visit. In which most cases I usually do but this was a special kind of "one star treatment". We grade our visits which is a true reflection of the quality or service we received. I ordered a fish sandwich and when asked what I wanted on it my reply was lettuce tomato and mayonnaise. The nature of their "no" response left me baffled. I was handed tarter sauce packets instead. The fish sandwich was a low quality Pollock which when opened up look less than appetizing and the bread looked tired, like really tired, like it ran a "three mile race" kind of tired. I usually don't leave really long negatives but sorry Yocco team, but this location needs a lot of love and more than just in the kitchen.

I can say I ate there. I can say it is likely I'll never eat there again. The hot dogs may have been original from 95 years ago. The chili was minimal at best. I think there was one piece of onion on the hot dog. The only reason it got 2 stars, it was clean and the French fries were fresh and hot. But even those were store bought frozen fries. No need to go there.

I had some good dogs today. A few years ago I tossed them in the trash. They were that horrible. But yoccos are the best. So I gave them another try
