The perfect place to come for Mother’s Day in between my insanely busy work weeks!
Unfortunately I have to give this location 1 star. We ordered take out and it was a complete ripoff. They sent a small piece of paper thin chicken and charged almost $18 for it. Then the Chile's rellenos normally has 2 it was sent with only one. Normally no issues at the restaurant when dining in. So this was frustrating especially when trying to call and no answer. Didn't bother driving back due to construction it was already hard to find parking the first time. Plus it was Mother's day.
Went there for lunch and had a great time. The food is great and the margaritas are even better! They also have a nice patio.
I placed an order via Doordash for street tacos. The order was missing 1 Pollo street taco. And they messed up the order specifically the spicy pineapple sauce. 1 star because I was expecting the food to be decent. Meat was barely seasoned pretty much bland. The lettuce was very soft no crisp to it. Customer service is horrible when I called to let them know of the issue. The girl who answered never put me on hold so I heard their whole conversation. I definitely won't be ever ordering from there again and dont recommend.
We were looking for a taco Tuesday night on margaritas national day to go out around 7 pm with friends which was on February 22 2022 , we called the restaurant to ask for any specials and they told us that they did not have margarita specials but the tacos were $2, we asked if it was a limited time and they told us no, since we enter the place you can see the inexperience of the teenagers who work at front, our waiter was Mauro , who gave us a 5 star service , unfortunately they did not have the traditional margaritas but settled us with a pitcher of strawberry margarita , when the bill came , they charged us $4 per taco , we asked the manager , explaining that we called before going and that was not what they told us, their only answer was, that it had to be theprevious shift that gave the wrong information.In short, the tacos were ok, Mauro's attention was fantastic, but the bad information and the poor attention of the rest of the people who work at the front make me not want to return to this place.
Last time I went here was on 02/12/22 and wow horrible service! I love the food here but the service just keeps on getting worse. Last Saturday we went and ordered our drinks, which never arrived. Our food arrived and still no drinks. We had to wait for all of our foods to arrive in order to begin eating which took a while. Everything was not brought out at the same time. We then proceeded to eat and STILL no drinks. We had to tell someone and then they brought us our stale sodas and my brother ordered a beer which he never received. To get the check was a hassle as well. We almost walked out. No one was attending us. It was really bad and it's very unfortunate being that the food here is decent and so is the ambiance, however the waiters need to be replaced. Very poor customer service.
Not a great experience. I wouldn’t say its bad but not upto the mark. Ordered spinach enchiladas. They are very dry, I liked the sides better.
The food is great but the reservation system is lacking. Made a reservation for 9 people for after the TSO show days ahead of show date and it seems the person that took the reservation didn't bother to write it down. So we are left standing in a packed restaurant without a seat because of bad customer service. Better communication is something they needs to be worked on.
5 stars for the Spanish rice (their rice is not Mexican) and a LACKLUSTER for the wait staff.First off - get the molotes! They are amazing!Second - the interior looks amazing and the vibe is fresh and friendly!Third - The food is average but it does have some beacons of amazing sprinkled in. The Spanish rice - just like my mom makes! Really good!I had a margarita and it was tasty. A little sweet, but I enjoyed it.As far as all the other items I ordered, so so.Finally - conversation and attentiveness from the staff was non existent. I like some conversation from waiters and bartenders, and I watched them talk to each other more than me! No recommendations, no small talk and definitely nothing worth tipping my standard 20%. Although I did!I would go back again. I may not be a local, but I’m in the area often. The menu has a lot to offer and the potential for greatness is there. The area/neighborhood is a little shaky so be careful.
Food was amazing. Service was amazing and the atmosphere was GREAT!!
