This place has some of the best pizza around, IN MY OPINION. I'm not sure, but it's seems like they brush oil and garlic on the bottom, which is exactly what I want. Not much red sauce, which again for me, is perfect. The cheese had a real dairy taste to it, not like plastic stretchy cheese you find too often around here. But I should have stopped at just getting the pizza. I got calamari, which was weird and nugget shaped and not good at all. They also served it with a spicy cocktail sauce which is kinda puzzling. Garlic knots were ok, not calling my mom to tell her about them. French fries were soggy, thank God for air fryersSo if you like garlic-y pizza with little sauce and great cheese, you're in for a treat. Sadly, I can't recommend anything else I've tried there. But as a pizza place, I really like their pizza, I'll just be ordering sides elsewhere. Hate to bag on local small businesses, I love to support them. But Sals had good pizza, but that seems to be about it. But it's a pizza shop, and they do pizza well, so 4 stars. YMMV

I love the pizza it reminds me a little of New York pizza the staff is amazing and every time I go in they have a smile it’s hard to find a good pizza place with good people

Great place ,great staff that love there Job serves u with a smile on there Face , GREAT Food

Such a great stop in the Allentown area! We loved the great traditional pizza!! We tried a few different options already prepared that were quickly heated in the oven. We appreciated the free soda refills. Definitely worth trying if passing nearby!

Sal's is a favorite in our house. I am newly diagnosed with celiac disease and have challenges on pizza night. I have just been eating salads, but tonight I noticed the gluten free pizza. It was not as good as a normal pizza, the edges were hard and the middle was very soft, but it tasted pretty good. You can see it had a baking tray and even came with a gluten free pizza cutter.

I don’t know how this place has so many stars it was horrible. We ordered the vodka sauce, calamari, garlic knots, fettuccine Alfredo, and a cannoli. The vodka sauce tasted burnt , the Alfredo was dry and nasty, the cannoli was a tiny cannoli that was $4 so not worth it the calamari I thought was horrible and very soggy the garlic knots had no flavor and the marinara sauce that came with it was watery , never ever coming back

Purchased a few cheese steaks. They were very good. Roll was toasted. I don't care for the pizza, they use a lot of corn meal on the bottom. It's like eating sand. Other than that place is very nice.

I would have rated this place four stars but after the other night when I picked up my lasagna, the gentleman who was taking money and work in the register did not wash his hands before handling my bread. He had just taking some money from other customers and then when it was my turn he noticed there was no bread for my lasagna so he reached down into the bread basket with his bare hands without washing grab the bread and then proceeded to wrap it up with this dirty hands I'm sorry but that is not nice. Money is some of the dirtiest things we handle every day. If you're going to handle money you should not handle food. And if they think putting gloves on without washing hands they are wrong. When they grab the gloves they have just crossed contaminated the outside of the gloves with their contaminated hands. Why can't these places have one person work in the register and other people handling nothing but food and constantly washing. Sanitizing gel doesn't do everything if you work in the food industry you need to constantly wash. If you don't then find another job.
