Ok real talk..Been here a few times and each was not great. Giving one star is probably giving this place some credit.This specific visit:1. Ordered drinks and the soda was completely flat. They said there was a problem with the CO2 no big deal.2. Ordered a water. This was the strangest tasting water I've ever had. It wasn't quite like water but more like a flat almost carbonated water but not. And an odd non water like flavor.3. Always understaffed during busy times.4. Food is meh at best. I mean it's clearly frozen stuff but at least an effort would be nice.When we asked about the water the staff said that yes they were told about an issue with the water and it had something to do with the CO2???Not sure what CO2 has to do with water but needless to say there was no CO2 and no water.Overall the food is mediocre at best although the service is decent.If you have a chance to eat before the airport you'd probably do yourself a favor and do that.
Meh? . . . In a pinch, if you must eat this place will be sufficient.SCENARIO: You're traveling. You need food. You don't feel like eating convenience store snacks or coffee shop treats. There's one other option . . .
Waited for 30 minutes for someone to take my order. When I received the order it was a different person's takeout.
I really can't rate any higher as I never had the chance to even try their food or rest of service. I feel bad there was only one waitress and one bartender for a full bar and restaurant on the day before Thanksgiving, one of the busiest travel days. I had to wait several minutes to be seated first as they only were using half the available tables in the restaurant. It couldn't have been a covid thing as they offered me to sit at the bar, but the bar was packed with people shoulder to shoulder and didn't seem safe. Once seated, I waited almost half an hour to order a drink, but gave up and left to order something from the vending machine when the waitress never came back. Table next to me sat at the same time and did order drinks, but those drinks took over 20 minutes to arrive, so I knew the wait wasn't worth it. Food menu seemed uninspired anyway.
For a small airport pub/restaurant, this place is pretty solid. Decent burger, hot fries, fresh beer on tap, and the waitress was very attentive and welcoming!
I’ve had breakfast here for years as I’m a frequent flyer. Never had an issue until today. I arrived and it was seat yourself. The waitress didn’t come till 11:01 and said breakfast ended at 11:00. I explained I was seated at 10:55 and I have diet restrictions and wanted the low carb breakfast but they were unwilling to accommodate a long time guest. I won’t be returning again after that response. I felt they should have made an exception since I was seated before breakfast was over. The breakfast has a low carb option and lunch does not.
The waitress was extremely rude when we where there this past April. I requested a table for my daughter and myself and she said it would be awhile, which was fine then she proceeded to sit people that came after us. So we ended up sitting outside of the restaurant where there’s tables and she missed out on a decent tip( I always tip good) Honestly forgot about it until we showed up yesterday (June 2021)we ended up with a four hour delay so decided to have dinner there because it’s either this place or vending machines. We were told to have a seat at a dirty table and someone would clean it , luckily the busy maybe manger or owner came because that same rude woman walked by us for no less than a half hour then proceeded slap some drink napkins down for people that literally just walked in , handed them menus complete with a smile. We were there about 45 mins before we were handed one menu for a party of four , I was like “Miss?? And she was like one minute then five later was like “this isn’t my table!? I looked around there are no other waitresses ?? Luckily the (manager or owner )Gentleman waited on us , that woman is a miserable human being and hopefully they find better help.
I went to the express counter looking to order food and buy a drink. Had 4 people walk by and not acknowledge me. They all looked and made eye contact and didn’t say a word. After 5 minutes of standing there pretty foolishly I walked away.
When first approaching the restaurant I was filled with false hope due to the large volume of customers. Unfortunately, this was because this is the only gig in town rather than any quality. The service was slow and unfriendly bordering on rude. The brat and hotdog were poor at best. Served with no condiments and provided only ketchup, mustard, and disappointment do yourself a favor and eat before going through TSA.
A good restaurant, with friendly staff, the BEST TURKEY BLT money can buy.... and you won’t spend a lot of money? SOLD! I think this place might be underrated because it was a solid 10/10!
