Quaint, warm, small sports bar with good food a great prices and excellent servers. I highly recommend PJ Whelihan's.
Dinner and drinks with my sister. Loved the old bay wicked nachos!! I have never had a bad meal.
Had dinner in the bar. Typical neighborhood bar. Wonderful service by a very friendly bartender. I had delicious fish tacos and my husband had tasty ribs. We have been here a few times and always enjoy it. Great little spot!
We go there a lot for Sunday lunch. Service is relatively quick, food is good, cozy environment, clean bathrooms. No complaints.
We came here after skiing at blue mountain. Very old fashioned pub, with wonderful food. The salad, PJ burger, and salmon are awesome. The staff here are really helpful and friendly.
First bad meal since I have been going to pjs.I ordered Chicken taco. The chicken was literally burnt, cold and not chewable. Had no flavor. The fish and shrimp tacos are excellent. The chicken tacos were awful. The waitress took them back and brought me a re-do order and I got exactly the same awful order. Very disappointed. I have been eating there since PJs opened years ago. That item was a special. However, it was no special.
This was the worst food I have had in a long time. The pulled pork sandwich was obviously the store bought "Lloyds" brand. The roll was totally soggy, couldn't even pick it up to try and eat it, the coleslaw tasted like a tin can and the fries were soggy!
Just enjoyed a nice visit at PJ Whelihans on Hausman. Server was attentive and personable. Food was delivered quickly and it was hot. Burger was awesome, club was real turkey breast and delicious, the turkey Reuben was yummy...all three orders were huge. Restroom was clean. Off street parking was easy and it's close to 476/78... Definitely worth a repeat visit.
The food here was sooo good! I had the tilapia tacos and I have to say one of the best I've had. If you like a basic taco this is not for you. It had chunks of mango and avocado and just plain delicious! We also ordered wings, nachos, and a super yummy cocktail that I can't remember the name of. Our waitress, Emilia, was super nice and adorable! Loved this place.
Called for takeout, and expected a long wait since it's Sunday. But both time we were put on hold then hung up on after waiting 10 minutes
