What a neat little find in Allentown. The owner is a one man show and it’s very impressive. From taking orders to cooking the food to cashing people out. The bagels are fantastic real New York style bagels! If your ever in Allentown stop and check out Johnny's!
Honestly the most professional, well organized ONE MAN SHOW I’ve ever witnessed!! Taking multiple orders, cooking, and cashing everyone out. Never missed a beat, not even when he had a rude costumer!! Way to go sir! I hope people are appreciative of your hard work!

Got a bacon, egg and chees on a bagel over the weekend. The bagels are ok though to me they were a little dry, something just wasn't right on the texture, it was the weekend so maybe not fresh? But that's just a minor nitpick. The real disappointment is the so called meat by-product they call bacon. I am not sure what it is but its awful and definitely not bacon. Cannot chew it, it is literally gross. Egg and cheese part of the sandwich was fine. Inside was fine with some tables and more comfortable seating with a bit of a hipster vibe (typical Main St. Bethlehem). Parking in from is almost always occupied by Hotel Bethlehem visitors across the street so easier to park on side street and walk a few hundred feet. Watch out the parking meter Nazi's in Bethlehem will nail you in 2 seconds if your meter expires.
Wow! The SO and I are just finishing our first breakfast/lunch. Just sandwiches and bagels, from Johnnys. From the moment I walked in I was pleased. It was clean, well lit, and self explanatory as to where to order and pick up food. You can eat in or take out. I ordered to go. I grabbed a custom specialty sandwich (was awesome) on a bagel and the beautiful wife had an everything bagel with butter Not Toasted. The well spoken clean cut college bound car enthusiast, who took my order and made our order, was working the counter and grill. Impressive. I went on a Sunday at noonish and it wasnt crowded and I found parking right out front! All in all Johnnys had it all. Sandwich’s salads wraps etc! We will be going back, probably more often then not. This location is a block from our loft. The beautiful “obnoxious motorcycle friendly” city of downtown Allentown…but, that, is a review for another day. Lol. They have a few other stores in the area. Visit johnnys, it’s great. For real for real. I ain’t gonna hold ya now!

My go to Bagel store.This time though no extras for BOGO deal.I ALWAYS buy cream cheese on the side in small or larger containers but this time they had NO strawberry cream cheese and said it wouldn't be available until Monday( granted it was Friday)I highly recommend light veggie cream cheese over regular as just has a much better flavor.Always clean .Should have more customers,as they do have seating available but only ever max saw 2 people besides me ordering.I'm sure majority is business lunch crowd!

Love grabbing breakfast from here, reminds me of a NYC bagel shop. Reasonably price, wide range menu and as always fresh!
