Have been dining at Henry’s for years and it has been consistently fantastic! Phenomenal food, very friendly and attentive waitress. Why would you dine anywhere else? Miss the salad bar, but at least you still get a delicious salad or soup with your meal. Two of us had our favorite, fried shrimp and 2 had the salmon. Thumbs up from everyone. One finished the meal off with key lime pie and said it was excellent. Can’t wait to go back again, soon!
The food was fantastic, seafood was super fresh. I ordered the Seafood Fra Diablo and the portion was big. They certainly weren't shy with the amount of seafood in this dish. The service was excellent and the atmosphere was cozy and the classy kind of laid back. Highly recommend, makes me wish I lived near a seafood restaurant half as good as this.
Henry's is my favorite point blank. It never fails, my wife and I venture out to try different upscale restaurants around the Lehigh Valley and always end up wishing we would've gone to Henry's. Even when we go to places that are twice as expensive it's always, " we should've just gone to Henry's ". The food and service are always top notch.
Well we were flying out of the Allentown airport so I thought we would come down and spend the night. I looked on trip advisor for restaurant reviews and this one had great reviews! No complaints except trying to find a parking spot. They do not have a parking lot and we drove around quite a bit looking to slip in somewhere. I reserved at the bar and they had about 9 seats at the bar. It was a great experience and would definitely go back again. The restaurant is pretty small and I would not advise going there without reservations. We had the clams casino, soup, lobster topped with crab meat and a steak. Everything was delicious.
Since Covid started, we have lost a lot of restaurants due to closings...but Henry's has always been one of my favorites...their food is amazing!! Has always been consistent. It is now my favorite restaurant in Allentown. Would highly recommend it! Would recommend reservations as it is a small restaurant. Everything is made to order, so if u have special dietary conditions, I'm sure they can accommodate you... definitely a #1 pick!!
I had the seafood and linguine meal. It comes with a fresh green salad and a vegetable on the side. I choose green beans, which were overcooked. The seafood was excellent but their was 5 pounds of pasta and a pound of butter on my plate. honestly, no one can eat that--or at least no one would like to meat the person who does!
It has been a long time since I went to Henry's Salt of the Sea....well, it is just as fabulous as it was twenty (give or take) years ago!! From the time you walk in til the end!! OUTSTANDING!!
