The food better than the picture.Update 5/16/22I visited twice in the past week, this location is currently having staffing issues. Which is effecting the quality of service. I held off after last time because everyone has their off days. My rule of thumb 1st is a fluke 2nd time you done it. I am removing a star, because of the poor management. The 1st time the food was cold after waiting half hour for it. Tonight they had one person doing 4 different jobs. So naturally items got missed, after taking my order and waiting 45 mins I thought, hoped they would notice they forgot the cutlery however I had to wait for her to finish preparing take out orders to track her down. Drinks were being served with the food. Instead of within minutes of being seated. It was NOT the servers fault.You can not expect one person doing 4 different jobs and expect smooth service. Tables were left unclean for an hour while they caught up, while eating I heard them praying for help,strength to get through the shift. Which to me sums up how much Dennys management hung this server out to dry, that the only help open was to a higher power instead of a team member to help. You cannot expect 1 person to be host, server, and take-out/kitchen helper.If you do not have the staff, do not open. I'm saying this as a customer who would be annoyed if it was closed, but having left being disappointed, not liking seeing people struggle. I would have preferred the store to be closed. I gave the server a 20% tip as I paid. They deserve way more, you have dedicated people working for you, which you are going to drive out if you don't have their backs. If there was management on duty they must have been hiding, cuz until I saw the other person at one point I wondered if they were even making the food, which would explain the 45 min wait time. But no, I briefly saw the chef as the one left with the next take out order.This, is solely a screw up of the management.
The manager was in and he greeted the entire restaurant & came over to say hi to my toddler. He was INCREDIBLY friendly and helpful. We had two servers as there was what appeared to be a shift change, I cannot recall their names but the first woman who sat us was incredibly cheery and just so pleasant. Our server who took care of us the of our time there was attentive, polite, helpful, and spoke to us like she’d known us our whole lives. Everyone was so friendly to our toddler l, which made our entire experience so much better. We will definitely be returning!
Very impressed with the service on mothers day. They were short staffed and the waitress was working the best she could.The manager came out and told us all the mothers were taken care of at the time we were at the restaurant.Food was good and the price.We appreciate the manager for giving us this gesture and gave back in the tip to the waitress
The waitress was awesome. Service was magnificent.
Tuesday March 22nd 2022We came here for free cookie dough pancakes but didn't realize our coupons were expired.Then we were pleasantly surprised that on Tuesdays, between 4pm-10pm, children eat for free. The kids meal also has many side options, several healthy including salad.We've had horrific experiences at dennys in Springfield pa (now out of business) bug was surprised at how great our overall experience was here.Waitress was amazing. Food was the bomb. They've updated their menus to have several healthy options as well as clearly labeled gluten free options. Discovered glutino English muffins, and they are so amazing.Waitress said kids drinks were included but we were charged. The manager was nice & removed the charges. If we lived closer, I think we would actually come back!
I got their Cinnabun pancakes which came with 2 eggs and hash browns. I ate like a king and everything was delicious.
In town for work. Went to get an early dinner here. Waited 15 minutes just to be seated at a booth that we couldn’t fit an infant car seat in. Hostess was our waitress too, really rude and had an attitude for no reason. Waited 15 more minutes just to get drinks. We were ready to order shortly after we got our drinks and the waitress told us “we’ll you will have to wait” another 10 minutes go by, still no order taken. It wasn’t until we said “we’ll just pay for the drinks but we’re going elsewhere” that she said “I was just going to take your order” with an attitude. So you couldn’t have taken our order when you walked past us multiple times IGNORING US??? Whoever runs this place needs to hire people that are attentive to every customer. Not just the ones already given their order or food. What a joke.
They forgot food and said we don’t have that. When it says it comes with that
This was the first time I’ve been to Dennys and I was truly impressed, the hospitality of their new manager Ace is beyond a 5 star rating. He showed me and my family the menu to select which food was best and gave us advice on the foods we choose, on top of that the food was superb! I’m definitely coming back here!
My door dasher went back to Denny’s to get my drink and they told her who told me that my drink wasn’t part of my order even tho it was on my receipt. Not sure if anyone is lying but if Denny’s is to blame than it’s 2 lost stars due to poor customer service
