I've always gone there from time to time for lunch during work. Really liked that place. Recently I've noticed that there food has been having hair, at first I thought it might have been one of mine but as it continued more frequently and it also happened to other people I know. I've realized that it was not my hair but probably the cooks or whoever makes the food specially beacuse it was multiple short hairs. Never going there again. I'm thoroughly disgusted.??
Excellent food! Huge breakfast burritos!
My family orders take out (COVID times) here a few times a year and are always very impressed with the flavors and quality of the food. Every time we’re here or drive by it’s fairly busy and rightfully so.
I've been eating here off and on for 15 years. Food is alway good, service is always friendly and quick. I ordered a chicken burrito today and a single empanada. Both were good. Burrito had big chunks of meat and a good mix of rice, beans, and veggies. Red salsa was good with a Smokey chipotle flavor, but hot. Green was good but regular, pretty hot as well.
We order six tacos for to go and then Sanchez give only one sizes of green salsa one red. I ask for extra salsa the guy said is plenty salsa for six tacos. I say okay l can pay extra money for getting extra salsa. Bu the reality this guy gets upset he rise hi tone voice wasn’t not really happy l was fell l was wrong place to get food Mexican that’s why l give bad review.
Not very helpful. I wanted some taco salad bowls and was willing to pay a lot for th ‘em. The owner said flat out NO. He is very gruff . I have had lunch many times. They are nice to Mexicans working guys but rude and short with white women seniors. I will never go there again since he wouldn’t accommodate me with the tortilla bowls.
I would have liked to try the food there today. But my daugther went in and sat down and were ignored for over 10 minutes so we left.
Huge Burritos! The folks working here are all very nice and native Spanish speakers, which always bodes well for a Mexican restaurant. This place is definitely in my list of great Mexican restaurants in Portland.
Great food, outdoor dining or take out, and they have traditional bakery offerings for something sweet. We ate outside on the covered patio. I always judge Mexican food by sauces and salsas. I tried the table salsa, green green red hot sauce, a green and red (enchilada) sauce - All exceptional. I highly recommend for anything on the menu.
Tacos are bigger than what you might expect. So fear not the price point there is value in each taco. I love their flavors and will be back again.
