Well I wish I could rate the food but I never got that far. The gentleman making my sandwich went from my sandwich into his pocket to check his cell phone and back to touching my food. As I was about to say something his other hand wiped his nose and back to touching my food ??? needless to say I got my money back and went elsewhere!
I booked a taxi ,Was very hungryordered a tuna sub and waited for the taxiMy phone battery was dead and as I was waiting I saw my cab leaving the complex!Jayden was behind the counter making sandwiches and he was niceEnough to let me use his phone to call the cab company!JJ made my delicious tuna sub and I enjoyed the friendlyAnd laid back atmosphere he created while helping all the customers who came in while making sandwiches!My sub was SODELICIOUS !I highly recommend themI'll definitely be back!
A young kid by himself! Never again! Out of just about everything. Ordered a bacon club-no bacon. Had to change bread, as they were out of several kinds. The French dip had almost no bun. Plus, it was ordered with green peppers & onions which weren’t there!We paid for something we didn’t get, and nothing was mentioned by the employee. That could be considered fraud! ? Had to give it a star, as I can’t give it a zero!
I ordered online. Shop was busy had to wait no big deal. As I watched the two employees make sandwiches, the employees made sandwiches they touched the till, their sweatshirts, faces ( picking goober from eyes) touched there mouth. And continued to touch and serve food with the same gloves on without washing hands or changing gloves .
Ordered with GrubHub and expected to be ready at 6:25 - 35pm. Got a notification it was ready for pickup 6:27p. I was in the parking lot so I came in, asked for it and was told there was 5 sandwiches to make before mine with a few people waiting.That's odd? Why was it shown ready? So I waited. And waited. And finally got my order at 6:50pm. GrubHub couldn't do anything about it regards to a credit, which they normally do if it's late.I guess I learned my lesson. I won't order from here if I'm preordering anything.I used to live out in the east Beaverton/Aloha area and was addicted to the location out there near Albertsons/Safeway. Those sandwiches were very, very consistent. This location however, has been hit and miss in the dryness of the sandwiches, which is very unfortunate, because it always makes me regret it when Whole Foods is so close (who has pretty good sandwiches as well).
Best subs in the Portland area. Fresh meats, fresh bread and the toppings are awesome. Their customer service is is top notch. Highly recommend.
This place needs help. Sandwiches are great, but they are clearly struggling with staffing. And they’ve had a broken soda machine for weeks, or it’s broken the few times I’ve been in. Bottled drinks are the alternative, that’s ok, but it’s not the same as a fountain soda.
I wish I could rate this place based on the food but, unfortunately, we didn’t get that far. We walked in to get lunch and there were two young men working behind the counter. We were the only customers in the store, except for one other woman who had already placed her order and was waiting at a table. Not one of the employees greeted us or said they would be right with us. They continued working on the other order, making eye contact with us several times, but never said a word. No smiles, no thanks for waiting, nothing. After about 7 minutes of being completely ignored, we left. I can understand waiting when there are other orders to finish, but not acknowledging customers is unacceptable. Those two need a lesson in customer service.
We went in for dinner, and I was so impressed with the service. The food was fantastic too! Thanks for making our night! We'll definitely be back again soon.
Came in today around noon, was greeted and quickly helped by i believe her name was “Tish”. Blonde, 40s, It was my first time in and she made me feel welcome and helped me create the perfect sandwich for me. I will definitely be back thanks to her and i hope monkeys subs appreciates the great employee they have there!
