The restaurant had nice curb appeal and looked welcoming. We were greeted right away and seated in a timely manner. The staff was friendly and attentive without being intrusive. The restuarant was clean and had fairly good atmosphere. The seating was comfortable and in good shape. The food was outstanding, but the presentation and plating was very plain; nothing fancy. The bathroom was clean, but several things were either broken or not in working order.I would recommend this restaurant and will definitely come again.
We have eaten breakfast at this restaurant several times it has always been just ok food. Our recent visit, the floors had food from other patrons all over and under the tables of the booths. I also had to ask for clean utensils as they also were spotted and didnt look clean. Watching the person wipe down the tables was also troubling...the rag looked really nasty and it was a quick swipe of the top of the table, not the seats at all. I asked our waitress about cleaning of the tables and she said they are soupose to put the rag into a bucket of clorox bleach each time but they usually dont because the clorox is hard on their hands...oh great, lets really use the rag now to just spread covid and germs all over the tops of the tables. We wont be returning ever...cleanliness in a restaurant is a must they are off of our lists of places to eat in the future. Cindy in Tualatin
I stopped here today at 1:30, couldn't wait to try their Famous chicken fried steak plate with hashbrowns, my husband got the chicken fried steak skillet. I couldn't eat it! The chicken fried steak tasted more like liver, it has a very distinctive taste just like liver and I hate liver. The gravy was good, but that's it. My husband agreed too about his chicken fried steak, he didn't like his either. My hashbrowns were undercooked too, and burnt on the outside. Definitely not coming back. Not worth $18 for that plate
First time visit and happy that we tried. The food was great. They had an interesting item with their menu, á Hawaiian omelet and it made just excellent. I'm not sure how they do their eggs but it was light and fluffy with ham and pineapple in every bite. I suspect that there is a little pancake mix in with the omelette to make it larger and more filling. Three over easy eggs, bacon and sausage were all cooked just right as well. And our waitress... You could not find a nicer and helpful person. She was helpful and always made time to stop by occasionally for drink refills, make sure everything was good even while also serving two larger tables with about a dozen people on each. The atmosphere was inviting, cozy and clean. Will definitely be back.
Love this place, but I have to say I think the quality has gone down. Maybe they're not spending as much on the ingredients due to the high prices that restaurants are having to pay now. And if you order the potatoes the home style potatoes, make sure you have them well done or else they taste raw!
Cute cabinish decor and warm feeling when I walked in! After I sat down and opened the menu I saw nothing priced lower than $13.00 for breakfast! Dinner prices at an upscale restaurant…. ? Really? After my food came my steak was fine, hash browns that looked like confetti and scrambled eggs fine. Since they are only open for breakfast and lunch Im guessing they make up for it with the super high breakfast prices. On a Saturday morning at 8:00 they should have been packed! Only 3 talbles full. SPEND YOUR $ ELSEWHERE!!! ???
If you are looking for good old Americana cuisine, look no further than Millers Homestead Restaurant. Excellent customer service, kind and attentive staff. A very relaxed environment with very happy customers and employees. The breakfast menu is impressive. Come with an appetite because portions are not only tasty but extremely generous. Lunch is equally impressive with a variety of sandwiches and burgers… a great kids menu too. The atmosphere is one of home, everyone being welcome from young to old. I highly recommend that you stop by for a meal that you will walk away satisfied from. Miller’s is open 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, 7 days a week.
Very disappointed in my visit this morning. I was immediately seated, however, no one came to take my order for at least 10 minutes. I placed my order, and it was another 10 minutes before my hot beverage was delivered, without the milk I ordered. By the time I got the milk, the tea was cold. My breakfast arrived after another 10 minutes, and the over medium eggs were cold with one yolk broken plus the bacon was not crisp, as ordered. I will not be returning to this restaurant.
Very good service. Waitress was always available.
I love this place! Came here 20 plus years ago with the family all the time growing up. I'm back in town and glad to see there still shakin & Bakin. Food is great. Most recent new thing I tried was Fried Chicken on waffle with biscuits and gravy.
