Came here as part of the Passport journey but stayed for the ambiance, beer and truffle fries with garlic aoli! Yumm!It's a quaint tiki-themed place with pool tables & shuffleboard! Good service & fun fish tanks are bonuses.
Excellent vibes, friendly staff! The low light is great for those who are easily overstimulated. The drinks are wonderful and the food is awesome! Had a great time, and definitely coming back.
We came as a group of 12 with staggered arriving times. We ordered drinks that took forever. Not once did our sever ask us for a food order. As the rest of the party rolled in, their drinks took forever. Somehow they were able to get a food order, then I had to flag our server and ask to place an order. Then it took forever for the food to come. Just simple stuff, fries etc.... My friends cajun fries seemed to be just the crispy remains of previous orders. Since I don't drink beer there's not much reason to come back.
It took about an hour to get our food. Pretty sure our waitress was drunk. Never at any point did someone come give us any refills of our drinks. There was feces on the floor of the men's bathroom. One of the worst dining experiences I have had in several years.
They are very short staffed, but those that are there are doing an excellent job. Food is good, drinks are great, service is friendly. Just gotta be patient, cause everything is slower due to the staffing issues.
The service was spot on. However the blue cheese salad wasn't good. The dressing was tasteless absolutely no flavor what so ever - with the exception of a few tiny crumbles of blue cheese mixes in and a few small crumbles on the salad. The lettuce was also cut into large long chunks so I felt like I was foraging in a field rather than eating at a restaraunt. Sad. I was so looking forward to it too.
Normally I love McMenamins but this was just such a frustrating experience. It was hard to get the waitress' attention so we were parched for most of our meal and when we were able to ask for ketchup and drinks she didn't get it to us until we were pretty much done eating. I think maybe they were understaffed but if that's the case, there's better ways of dealing with being understaffed. My order was wrong, and pictured is the pathetic fish and chips (that looks wildly different from every other McMenamins) that we paid $20 for.
Stopped here for takeout because it smelled amazing when I drove by. Best burger I've ever had, reasonable prices, and a solid staff. This five minute ? that occurred while I was there really sums up the whole experience. Thanks for everything, Ilsa!

We enjoyed this mcmen's pub beacuse it had shuffle board and other games in the back room where we got a booth. Good beer selections and standard Mcmenamins menu (nothing really different from the standard. Service was good, food came out quickly and we really enjoyed playing games.
