This is the BEST restaurant that I have ever eaten at. My daughter lived in Tigard pre-covid. When I went to visit her we ate there for breakfeast on the first day I arrived. I loved it and made her go back for lunch the next day. We did and it was awesome again. My daughter suggested that we go back for dinner a few days later.... I was hesitant.... what restaurant has great dinners that has great breakfasts??? Well they do! Everyone with us had prime-rib and again it was awesome..... I'm from cattle county and this was the best prime-rib I have ever eaten at a restaurant... The staff was awesome as well!!! I am most likely going to drive over 220 miles just to visit an Elmer's in Pocatello, ID. I sure hope its as good as the Tigard one.
Packed at lunch as expected. Staff worked hard to clear tables so a 5 minute wait or something.Had the veggie burger. Perfect.Wife had Belgian waffle combo.*Note: it is standard with strawberries and strawberry compote, but can be ordered without compote*Our server was fantastic.She had a second glass of soft drinks to me before I had finished the first and told us the waffle redo was almost done without us asking. She was zooming all over the place keeping people happy
that photo of the Dutch Baby is a LIE The thing that arrived at my table was anything but that It was tiny, flat and almost unedible. . . . . I realize I should have sent it back but to what given what they are already prepared A MASSIVE disappointment as I went to Elmer's expecting what was depicted in the photo Also, she never returned to inquire if everything was okay
Went in to see if i could get a german pancake to go. I just got off work. I work graveyard. They said no to go orders and thats fine but then they said i had to eat almost all of it before they would give me a to go box. What thr hell is that. Im gonna go back and see what they say with my mother. I cant ever eat a whole german pancake but i wanna see them say i cant take it home with her there. This will be fun
Good food, decent staff... slow waitress didn't pay attention and my drink stayed empty for like 10 minutes without her even passing by but the other waiter from the section over picked up the slack and was very kind!
Slow food, slow service. The manager was really rude to our large group and it stained our entire visit. She seemed totally put out that we were even there. Our waitress was pleasant enough. The bathrooms feel really dirty.
Maybe because I'm from outta town (California) but this place was. Well not the worst but not the best. I got some hashbrowns and they were kinda thick? Like somebody took a potato, peeled it directly onto the stove and called it a day. Very strange but maybe it's a Oregon thing? Bottom line. s'okay I guess. I'd go again.
Hmm…Maybe it could have been a better experience.The food was okay. It was more about the freshness of the food.. We ordered the mini burgers for my son, but it seemed like the bun was rotten… but the service was really great. We just had a bad experience with their food.
I'll thank you very much Elmer's for the free Thanksgiving breakfast I spend it alone but I also spent it with my family over there at Elmer's thank you guys for making me feel so welcome and for the free breakfast thank you
