We made the mistake of trying this restaurant on Friday, May 20th. The atmosphere was okay but the service was terrible. It was almost as if we were invisible. Had to ask several times for more chips and salsa. Took a very long time for order to be taken. The steak I received for my fajitas was inedible. They did replace it with chicken but it took so long I had to get it "to-go". I don't think I can recommend this place to family or friends.
I am not a huge Mexican food eater but my husband is. That being said I do love this place the staff is friendly the food is good... The chips are always flowing and the food is always hot and fresh and very tasty the margaritas or the best!So the next time my husband craves Mexican food we will be back.
I was hungry for Mexican food, in particular for fajitas and a strawberry marguerita. The marguerita tasted fine but I don’t think there was any tequila in it. If there was I should have tasted it or certainly felt something because those drinks are huge. The chicken in the fajita was nice and tender not dry but the peppers and onions were cooked to mush and floating in grease. I didn’t eat them. The chips and salsa were tasty as well as the guacamole. My husband had the fish tacos. He said they were tasty but got soggy quickly. I should say that the staff were very nice and friendly and the restaurant has a nice feel to it.
I love good Mexican food & this restaurant delivers! Food is fresh and delicious. Served by a friendly staff and so reasonably priced. Their margaritas are wonderful too.
My family and I love this sit down restaurant. Magdalena is one of the best servers here who is friendly, on top of our needs and has even remembered some of our favorite dishes we order. The shrimp soup is delicious, the grilled chicken is addictive and much more. We have came here the last 6 years and will continue to come here. We have been real lucky to have this restaurant close to where we live. If we ever move I know we’ll still make the commute to enjoy the food, service and ambiance of this place.
The food is very good, full of flavor! Their water is clean. The margaritas are great! They have a perfect amount of alcohol so its not like you're drinking just a smoothie. The service is great too. There was a bit of a wait but it seemed like we came in between shifts, which was fine. We weren't upset about having to wait a bit; the food is very worth the wait! We will be back!
Really good food very family friendly ! Will go back. Service was great and so was the food. Our youngest is very picky and they did great with out bumping the price.
Friendly staff, bustling dining room. Extensive menu, many unique menu items not typically found at standard Mexican restaurants.
We visited this place many, many years ago when it was an Italian restaurant! We're not sure why we waited so long to try it again as El Guajillo?! It was absolutely wonderful. The food was delicious, the portions were huge, the chips and salsa were great, and our server (Magdalena) was very attentive. We will absolutely return again, and we can't wait!
I love this restaurant! Amazing customer service and there food is authentic & tasty! My favorite dish is there molcajete and Agua Chile. It’s delicious!
