Let me start by saying this is usually a great spot for breakfast but....Service was sub par almost like it was an inconvenience for me to be there. CFS that I was served tasted like it was fried In old greese and was still raw in the middle. I asked to replace it with a burger patty and it was served swimming in grease. Not the finest moment for Sharky's I'll be back but not for breakfast.
Bartender Tim was excellent! From the moment we walked in he had menus in his hand for us, the place was a little crowded so he helped us find a seat. He was friendly and knowledgeable about the bar and menu choices.Sharkys is a fun casual spot to get an ice cold beer in a chilled glass or a delicious bite from the menu!
Couldn't be more proud than to put this Springfield location at the top of our list! I rate this #1 pick in, VALUE, QUALITY,and SERVICE.Of course the atmosphere is awesome!Well kept and clean establishment!!The cooks are working hard to put out quality food and the waitresses just as hard to get it out HOT to the customers!Chicken fried steak, bomb!
Fairly nice place to eat!My family of 6 went on a Sunday. Everything was pretty quick. Our sever was new and it was her first day alone so her being pretty quick was surprisingly nice. When we entered there was a table on the back we went to but it wasn’t cleaned off so we went to the front. It wasn’t fun moving around to another table.Salad was decent. I’m not a big fan of salads but that’s my personal taste and isn’t playing into the review. Croutons were amazing though.I got a sweet tea and it was perfect. Not to sweet but not to unsweetened. Quick refills. It’s a 10/10 for the drinks.We got appetizers. Chips and salsa along with onion rings.Onion rings were standard bar onion rings. Nice and crunchy the onion always falls out when you bite into it. 10/10Chips and salsa was great. Salsa wasn’t to spicy but it was the point where my 5 year old loved it. So perfect 10/10. The chips themselves were thick but hot. We also got guacamole. It didn’t actually seem like guacamole it was more like baby food. Just plain puréed avocado with no seasoning or vegetables, But it was actually good. 9/10Onto the entreeI got the 10 oz sirloin with a side salads and side Mac n cheeseIt came with toast. It’s was just toast haha. It needed a little butter. 9/10The steak was good. Very juicy, easy to cut, not to chewy. She never asked me how I wanted it cooked. It came out medium. I normally prefer medium rare but it was good. 10/10The Mac and cheese was extremely disappointing. It tasted like the microwave Mac and cheese dinners you get at a gas station. It wasn’t terrible but I did not enjoy it. 4/10.Over all the meal was pretty good. I enjoyed it a lot except for the Mac and cheese and the table situation. I highly recommend this place.
What drew me in was the big sign on the window stating that they were voted number one Burger in Lane county. I am not sure who voted this but I will disagree. Sadly I could find a better burger at Red Robin. The patty was bland and super soft. They did use real bacon which I was surprised by but very thin short pieces. Getting the waitress to acknowledge us seemed like a chore. And the prices were not that impressive... ??♀️

The only reason I gave one star is you not review without giving a star. My actual rating is -10 stars. Why so harsh? I was refused service there even though I came in with a regular. It was not busy and plenty of staff but they did not greet us, give us menus and never came to take our order. The servers had their backs to us the whole time. Be clear we are respectful, mellow people. They did not lo like how I dressed. I’m gothish looking so since I wasn’t in slovenly jeans and a sports t-shirt they just ignored us. My friend is not goth and goes there regularly. They discriminated against me. Happens all the time. I have a lot tattoos and dressed in black. But I looked good and I’m a very friendly person. We left without anyone even addressing. Of course this place is in Springfield and if you’re not a redneck or a person who wears pajamas and slippers in public you are automatically prejudged . I get treated like a lesser being all the time but I have never been refused service anywhere. Don’t patronize this establishment. No one should be refused service because they are alternative.
Good food selection, nice staff. Comfortable central bar gives you plenty of personal spaces around the ring. The bathrooms are decent. The smoking porch is sealed enough that it's not bad in rough weather. It is rather small, though well designed.
My favorite go to place for a drink with the hubby. Best burgers in town! Love this place ?
